ShulaSteakhouse
At least one more year of the sports media literally crawling-up Rodgers' rear end every day, now that he's in NY, and with Brady retired. Cowboys and Jets' every week on national games, woo. 1
ArmyBengal
I will never be rooting against the Jets more than I will this coming season.
TJJackson
the fact that they got the Packers r1 pick is insane
ArmyBengal
I thought they were really exciting with the young talent they have and then they added Rodgers. Now I just hope they lose. Rodgers is insufferable.
AMPHAR
I have no hate for the Jets. That move makes the Chiefs and Bills schedule harder. Now there are a lot of interesting Jets games I hope they put in prime time.

COB
Rodgers can shapeshift into the darkness. He’s one thing - consciousness.
COB
Before Consciousness even throws his first pass in a jets uniform, you know he’ll spew a bunch of new age bulllshit, launch a few passive/aggressive attacks on both his current and former receivers, and appear in public sporting the greasiest man bun you’ve ever seen.
TJJackson
so here we have a young lightly used veteran running back who has proven nfl blocking talent who is available for trade probably for no more than a r6 pick and carries a salary under 3M I say G I M M E https://www.cincyjungle.com/2023/4/28/23702725/dandre-swift-trade-lions-news-bengals-rumors-nfl-draft-2023 unless this guy fumbles a lot, I dont see a downside
HoosierCat
Speaking of RBs, Gio called it a career today. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/news/giovani-bernard-retiring-from-nfl

It's a legit knock.
ArmyBengal
The injury history is concerning and he's working on the last year of his rookie deal. What about his next contract? I guess we could worry about that next year, but that's only adding to the list needing to be done. If we were to do what the article suggests and releasing Mixon, I don't see that as a smart approach. Swift is not a dependable player at this point. HoosierCat
Well, looks like we won’t have Brandon Allen to kick around anymore. Off to San Fran. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/news/report-former-bengals-qb-brandon-allen-signing-with-san-francisco-49ers

ArmyBengal
If memory serves me correctly, there isn't much out there at this point. The Bengals did have Trevor Siemian in for a visit last month I think and he's still out there. However, there's a good reason he's still out there. Slim pickings at the moment. HoosierCat
There’s a little fan boomlet going on for Carson Wentz, apparently. They could do worse imo.
ArmyBengal
They could do better... lol I'm good with any of these guys as long as Burrow remains 100% healthy for the season.

Stripes
I think Carson Wentz would be a great backup. I'm not sure Carson Wentz feels that way.

TJJackson
dont like this move even if he is on vetmin and nothing else. even less so if he gets more than that. but the timing with Allen's signing suggests they waited for Allen til the last moment and this guy was their second choice
membengal
Huh. I think Seimian way better than Allen. Like, a lot better.
TJJackson
Its ok. we disagree. Happens all the time. we both shall live through this :-) Have terms been disclosed yet?
