Can you imagine being a builder, a general contractor. You bid on Cincinnati’s new (hypothetical) stadium and you get it. Mike Brown is in charge of the project and you have to negotiate every change order, every material substitution, every schedule change, with him. You’d be smiling as you jumped off a bridge somewhere.

Haslam did choose a strange time to alienate his fan base. They were already irate. He never ceases to amaze.

I can’t watch that whole thing TJ but I assume OBJ is Orlando Brown Jr, and I also assume he’s revealing whether the play is a pass or a run with his stance or his setup. Defenses reading him somehow.

The Browns keep playing Watson even though logic says sit him. Why? A theory: First, the NFL recently said it is still investigating Watson’s most recent lawsuit/payoff. The Browns are saying nothing other than we like Watson and he gives us the best chance to win, and he’s our starter. My theory is that the NFL is building a case to kick Watson out of the league. Their evidence will be the same evidence that Haslam uses to void his poison pill contract. Haslam likely knows this, so to avoid the appearance of impropriety, and to avoid claims of collusion, they sit there and act like everything is ok. This sleazy back room shit is completely consistent with Haslam’s past behavior. He orchestrated a complex scheme to defraud his truck stop customers, and recently orchestrated a scheme to fraudulently pump up his truck stops’ value to get more $$ on the sale to Berkshire Hathaway.

I love Lucas Oil. I’ve attended 3 big ten championship games there and it’s a great setup. Here’s a great idea - Mike sells the team to Bezos and he builds Lucas Oil 2.0 and we all live happily ever after.
