  1. McDermott gone!
  2. Anyone remember this beast??
  3. Not this year. Maybe next year!
  4. Josh Allen bites the dust again!
  5. You’re not ‘SILENTLY’ hoping it now!
  6. Ok, so if this is your prediction BECAUSE it’s the Bengals, are you like AB and I, and just expect the worst, but hope for the best, rant and rave in here just to hear our heads roar?
  7. Good Big 10 point AB. Personally, outside of MAYBE the 2001 Hurricanes, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team with the kind of passion and excellence like this Hoosier team! What’s ironic is how this is basically a basketball town with the school winning 5 championships! Kind of like if Duke football was playing for the championship with no previous titles and a basketball team with 5! Also I agree that the NFL matchups this year could make for some good football but I guess I’m NOT really a football fan/watcher. I’ll only watch games the Bengals, Eagles, or Texans are in, IF it’s televised. I’ll watch the Texans game but IF/ONCE they lose, I won’t have anymore dogs in the fight so I probably won’t be watching!
  8. My post was replying to Prophecy, but I’m glad you weighed in as well. I’m older and born and raised in Dayton! I’m so old Cleveland was the only team in Ohio. Dad liked PB so it wasn’t hard to be a Browns fan. When the Browns did PB dirty and he started the Bengals in 1968, I was just a few months shy of 15. Since Cincinnati was only 50 miles down I75, we were already Reds fans and liked PB, so it wasn’t hard to switch teams! (I was fortunate to go to game #5 of the 1975 WS and game 1 of the 1976 WS. I would have went to a game in the 1990 WS if I had still been in Dayton!) Even though I moved to Florida in 1981, I’m STILL and always will be a Bengals fan but also root for and follow the Texans because of CJ. Since my wife and son like the Eagles I pull for them as well from the NFC. Hoping to see a Lombardi in Cincinnati before I go to The House!
  9. Because it’s the forums and this is a place where we all like to come up with ‘if’ hypothetical/fantasy scenarios, (if this were to happen, or if so and so was coach, or if so and so were drafted, or if we get rid of and/trade so and so . . . . .) Let's do this. If, for the 2026 season, the Bengals and the Texans swapped ALL the defensive players including the DC and his defensive coaches, and assuming all the offensive players and coaches for the Bengals and Texans STAYED. The Brown family remains, Zac remains, but the Brown family AND Zac completely leave the defense alone and let the DC and his coaches run the defensive show unhindered, assuming no major long term injuries, what do you think would happen next year with this franchise? I can’t even begin to imagine!
  10. SOMEHOW? I think we ALL know HOW HC!?!
  11. I don’t have faith in ANYONE, but after PB died and MB and the rest of the Brown clan took over, I’m pretty sure I can guess what hand the fans are going to be dealt! You KNOW the Brown family. You KNOW what’s going to happen. Still you issued an ultimatum! What are your options? Walk away and fan up with another franchise? Or just keep on pissing and morning in here like the rest of us do, expecting the worst, but ‘hoping’ for the best?
  12. Not qualified?? What is considered qualified in Prophecy’s world? 2012 Asst QB coach Dolphins 2013-2014 QB coach Dolphins 2015 OC and QB coach Dolphins 2016 OC and QB coach Bengals 2017 Asst wide receivers coach Rams 2018 QB coach Rams
  13. Two deep playoff runs! He’s won 5 playoff games in two years that took the Bengals 23 years to win 5! Plus, Burrow likes and supports Taylor and Cincinnati loves them some Joe Burrow!
  14. Let’s throw this out here. I know it’s the forums and outside of the ‘typical forum venting’ that happens when things go well WITHOUT mistakes, which, realistically, will NEVER happen regardless of ANY team or HC, is there ANY coach that would make all the play calls, play the right players, make the right moves, according to forum decorum?
  15. It’s the Bengals! What reality were you truly expecting? Zac HAS had some extenuating circumstances, IMHO! 2019 no HC was going to win. 2020 inherits COVID, Burrow goes down for last 6 games 2021 goes to SB with anemic OL. 2022 goes deep into the playoffs with same OL. 2023 Burrow appendicitis and still bad OL, franchise tries to correct, Burrow goes down with wrist. Browning does decent but can’t get them across the line. 2024, some OL improvement, offense goes off the chain, defense can’t stop a toy train! Anarumo gets fired! 2025 Burrow goes down AGAIN with turf toe! Browning does not come close to 2023. Flacco comes in and does well. OL goes from 32 to tied for 9. Defense still young and can’t stop anything but improves the last 8 games! IF injury prone Burrow stays healthy, OL stays top 10, defense continues in the upswing THEN let’s see what happens!
