I blame stripes. Slander. I would never 1) go to southern Indiana, 2) be in the company of numerous 70+ year old people, or 3) sing anything their demographic would sing 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted June 4 Report Posted June 4 To the plus, you can be almost anywhere in a bar and manage. Numerous 70+ year old people? Not really my thing for a bar setting, but again.... "Bar" Folk songs? Sure, I guess "Bar" is still the potential silver lining here, but one rendition of Puff the Magic Dragon and I might start throwing walkers at people. Fuck you grandpa, don't make me break your hip. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted June 4 Report Posted June 4 Is that the place where they are all a bunch of old swingers and STD's are rampant? If so, that's a pass for me. Quote
HoosierCat Posted June 5 Author Report Posted June 5 Great news everybody! The Bears Board of Directors has voted to advance its plans for a stadium in Hammond. So in just a few short years I may be able to hand some tax money to a billionaire nfl owner every time I go to the local bar. 1 Quote

COB Posted Tuesday at 09:35 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 09:35 PM Nice. In a related development, The copy of “Modern NFL Roster Management for Dummies”, (by Chinese AI), is missing from the school library that Mike’s youngest grandson attends. 1 2 Quote

COB Posted Wednesday at 11:24 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 11:24 AM Does BA (as he refers to himself in his rant) realize the Niners could just trade him to an AFC team they don’t play this year? They could basically trade him and play against him once in the next 3 or 4 years. CTE might be creeping on this dude. Pass! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Thursday at 12:51 PM Report Posted Thursday at 12:51 PM If anyone is counting (besides me) there are 9 week from today until "Fake Game 1: Lions @ Bengals". Feels like forever but that's 2 months my friends. What's the over and under on how long before that game does the "Start Fast" conversation begin ?? 1 Quote

What's the over and under on how long before that game does the "Start Fast" conversation begin ?? “Start Fast” might be the topic of the pre-season. There are a finite number of things to talk about in the spring and summer. Our normal ranting was derailed when, somehow, the family didn’t tell any players they could go eat cake. So that leaves us with early start, Burrow as fashion icon, and Arby’s. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Thursday at 03:45 PM Report Posted Thursday at 03:45 PM Ok, I know I'm old at this stage in life. I've accepted the aches and pains associated with blinking and breathing. Standing when sneezing can lead to my death. Peeing use to be easier which leads me to believe the toilet opening has shrunk through the years.. My clothing choices, while still keeping it young, somehow remind my of my father even though he would never wear this. Who knew prostate meds are the same meds for erectile dysfunction? Now while not having THAT problem yet, I typically request Teams meetings, because you just never know. Moaning use to be heard only in the bedroom, now I can't drink water without feeling it somewhere in my body. I'm pretty sure shitting after Chipotle is going to lead to a loss of my pancreas or spleen without me even being aware one of these day. Anyway, sorry I got derailed. What I meant to say is I don't care about Burrow's fashion statements. That is all... Quote

ArmyBengal Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Thanks Hoosier, just when I thought I had that atrocity of a song erased from my memory, here you come. First no comment on the potato cake front and now this. What is the world coming to? Next thing you know, the Bengals are going to start fully guaranteeing 2nd round contracts... OH SHIT, FOR REAL ?!?! https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/onsi/cincinnati-bengals-rookie-cashius-howell-makes-franchise-history-with-contract-01ktvabf67qb 1 Quote
TJJackson Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago BTW, I dont see them using the money from Burrow's restructure to get another player They seem to make it more or less a yearly team requirement to have ~10M cap to move to the next season, and I think this is all that this restructure accomplished Its an assinine thing. The goal is to win a championship, not to have 10M extra cap next year God how I hate the Brown family Quote
ArmyBengal Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago I was thinking an internal extension for DJ Turner, but am holding out hope for a Jordyn Brooks trade. Quote
