Oh shit there’s a new Vice President of the Cincinnati Bengals. Oh wait, it’s just a family promotion…

Maybe that’s what they are spending the extra cap savings on.

That dude has some serious gambling issues and bet on his own team as well.

Well, if Sorsby turns out to be the Pete Rose of QB's, that would be surprising.
Wish him luck in his path and should the Bengals decide that is with us, I will root accordingly.

Why hire qualified, experieced NFL people, when you can promote 2 of your granddaughters to Vice President? (they also promoted Caroline Blackburn because hey, cant just give Elizabeth a "promotion")

So, by my count, that's 4 Vice Presidents, an Executive Vice President, and President who have never played football, coached football, or had any experience working for any other NFL Franchise. BRILLIANT !!!

Club Zac is back! Saying that the players snd coaches have accomplished everything they wanted to accomplish in the off-season, Taylor today cancelled the rest of minicamp (which began yesterday and was scheduled to end tomorrow). I guess they can all get a jump on 4th of July festivities!

They need time off to read all the articles describing how great they’re going to be this year.

Just saw one - headline: “Joe Burrow Has Flahbacks to LSU’s 2019 Juggernaut With 2026 Bengals.”

Is that good when you tell teams how great they’re are before they even play?  I’m being glib.  It is not good.

Wonder how many days they got off during that national championship season at LSU because they had everything they needed ??  I’m going to take a guess and say ZERO.

While getting time off may be something seen around the league more often, I could provide a list of things that could be done during those two days which may prove helpful.

Remind me how many teams win the Super Bowl each year ???

I think Joe’s trying to light the fire under his teammates’ and coaches’ asses.

Taking two days off certainly isn’t consistent with that message though.  Do you want it or not, Zac?

Shit, might as well cut training camp in half too? This is the same Coach who has a career record of 3-11 in Weeks 1 and 2. He CLEARLY knows how to get a team prepared. Dont worry guys.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…so bored (kicks back of seat several times, whines at Army, “Are we there yet? Is this stupid off-season over yet?”). C’mon Bengals, step it up! No one has punched a woman or gotten a DUI or bitched about their contract in FOREVER. So…freakin…borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrred.

This off season truly is dull.

I went to visit my mother at her assisted-living facility yesterday.

When I was leaving the same old guy, who is always there, was sitting at the nurses station.

And as always, he mean, mugged me like he’s a menace to society or something.  Dude’s probably in his 90s.

He’s done it to me pretty much every time I’ve walked through there. He probably has dementia.  He has sort of that vacant look and he never ever speaks to anyone. I’m 99% sure he has dementia.

Nonetheless, I mean, don’t fuck with me.  So when I was leaving, I just blatantly locked eyes with him.  I walked the 7 or 8 steps right towards him and he finally averted his gaze when I was just a few feet away.

Make of that what you will. I don’t know what it says about me, but yes, I backed down a 95-year-old dementia patient in my mother’s assisted living facility.

I will answer the obvious question before anyone even asks it. No, he was not in a wheelchair. He does use a walker though.

COB I can totally relate.

My divorced mother and father in law are in the same nursing facility.
It's hilarious watching these two go back and forth with each other when they are around each other.

That being said, some of the old ladies in that joint are next level with how they approach men.
Just when I thought it was only a "Dirty Old Man" thing that happened, you hear these raunchy old women that say and do the same thing if not worse.  Even offering candy and handmade items in exchange for favors.

It's a shame I don't like Three Musketeers and scarfs or I might break some hips in that joint.

Let the record show that this thread has now reached the “nursing home nookie” level. Looking down, I believe the next stop is Avernus (the first layer of the nine hells). Prepare to abandon all hope…
