I dont think the QB is being blamed, specifically......what I am reading is that if Carr gets injured they owe him a staggering amount of money and have decided not to risk taking this loss

so its purely financial rather than being about his success or lack thereof

Just read this - after practice today Burrow met with the media.  During his interview he said “Zay” will fill in for Lael Collins.  Does this mean that instead of Adeniji, Isaiah Prince will play RT?

ZT basically said it isn't decided between Prince and Adeniji who will play. Sounds like they are in competition for it. Fine by me. We did make a super bowl with Prince at RT. Just sayin'.

Hard to get…

If the story about Adeniji getting all the first team reps when Collins got his day off is accurate (I assume it is) then why not play him?

I would assume that you would always rather a defender go around the OT than through him. If that is in fact the case, then why wasn’t Prince getting those reps when Collins got his day off?

Because Rousseau is an absolute power rusher - pure power. And he lines up exclusively against RT. ZT may think that Adeniji is at more risk of  being over-powered too much on the rush and may want Prince's power at RT to counter Rousseau. May just be a match-up thing.
