Stripes Posted February 3, 2022 Report Posted February 3, 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FTH19FA5kc League's SB preview is out. The preview guy has been a clown all year in these about the Bengals, basically ripping them for "doing nothing about the offensive line". It has irritated me coming from a place that really should be impartial. But I dunno if he has a choice now. Quote
membengal Posted February 3, 2022 Report Posted February 3, 2022 that is really good from Shrager 1 Quote
COB Posted February 3, 2022 Report Posted February 3, 2022 Loved that vid. “That’s how you build a champion.” Quote

My son practices in the UC bubble and all those practices were moved/canceled suddenly. Could have been the weather, I guess. Its a good spot to have practice and easy location. Bengals not having an indoor facility of their own is an overblown issue by fans, IMO. Quote

I really don't care as I can see the reasons for both having or not having a bubble. However, I look at this from the perspective of the NFL being valued at greater than 110 billion dollars. When you have a team that is in a cold weather location, it's something which I would expect from that organization due to it's value. When the team or the organization doesn't ensure this is taken care of, it comes across poorly. Sort of like buying a house. If a house is valued at greater than half a million, there are things which I expect due to it's value. 3 car garage, certain square footage, land, etc. When it doesn't have those things, it comes across poorly. Obviously not an apples to apples comparison, but just how I see it. 1 Quote
Stripes Posted February 3, 2022 Report Posted February 3, 2022 Rams OC O’Connell appears to be headed to Minnesota as HC after the Super Bowl. That’s a nice, welcome distraction that reminds of Zac Taylor himself during the Rams/Patriots Super Bowl lead up. https://www.nfl.com/_amp/vikings-expected-to-hire-rams-oc-kevin-o-connell-as-head-coach 1 Quote

membengal Posted February 3, 2022 Report Posted February 3, 2022 I am pretty sure the issue is that jerseys are completely sold out. I looked again last night at Koch's and also the Pro Shop and no jersey inventory at either place. 1 Quote
Wraith Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 I really wish the Super Bowl was being held this weekend, the waiting seems interminable. Quote
COB Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 Same. Usually the whole thing is so overhyped, thanks in large part to the extra week for ultimate media saturation, that by the time the game gets here it’s almost a letdown, like “finally.” Won’t be a problem for me this year. Quote
Wraith Posted February 4, 2022 Report Posted February 4, 2022 Interesting little factoid, if the Bengals win next Sunday they will have the same number of playoff wins as the Dallas Cowboys since 1996. 4. 1 Quote
