I’ve got eyes in my head. He’s not anywhere close to right. Normally he’s very good at moving around to evade the rush. Right now, not moving around.

Burrow just can’t throw downfield, it’s obvious. He should not be out there, and Taylor should have the backbone to do what’s best for the team and sit him.

I’m convinced Burrow can’t plant that right foot and drive the ball downfield. I’m also convince that the DCs in this league can watch tape and figure that out. Which I think is exactly why we saw the titans sending 7 guys without a second thought. I’ll wait for the reports on Burtow’s calf, if it’s the same I’ll take the cardinals and the points.

King Henry trampled us. One bright spot, our first round pick got on the stat sheet. Good to see him contributing.

That British guy who gets hired by a restaurant then comes in with his tv show and screams at everyone and throws a plate of beans on the floor - that’s who we need right now.

That last 4th down play on offense - Burrow had to bail, he was trying use Ted Karras as a human shield. Didn’t work, took a hard tackle, including getting whacked in the head. If they get the ball back, just give Burrow a rest, try Browning. Live to fight another day.

That was an entertaining game to watch. Loved seeing that defense come into its own. I was really worried they just wouldn’t find it after losing Jessie Bates and Von Bell, but man they looked good last night. Offense - If Burrow never gets healthy, if he looks like that all year, we’re going to get swept by the Browns and the Steelers. He won’t be able to help out his line against Watt and Garrett who will feast on an immobile target. So basically, we need a witch doctor to come in, specifically a calf specialist witch doctor, and fix our football team.

I’d guess he’s not playing. He’s injured, missed 3 weeks in preseason, tried to come back, still injured. Too much risk to play him and Browning is probably as good as Burrow in this condition.

I read Mixon was taking some snaps at QB, though that could be wildcat stuff. My guess is Burrow plays.

Last two NFL games - in Cleveland a drunk fan beside us picked my (disposable) camera up off the concrete, took pics with it and wouldn’t give it back. I had to take it back, the cops got involved. They moved us to an area that they keep available for such situations. Saw a fight there about ten rows in front of us. In cinci - the buffalo game when FITZ magic destroyed us in the 2nd half, the Terrell Owens year. A drunk fan named Rob meant well, but would not stop slurring a bunch of shit to my 7 or 8 year old son. Again, we end up getting moved by stadium security, this time to a pretty good area they keep reserved for handicapped fans. In summary - I can only get along with other nfl fans if they are all in wheelchairs. I bought a ticket from Mem a year or two ago, but didn’t make it to the game. I’m a non drinker and live a sober life, NFL stadiums are not for me.

I know nothing about calf injuries. Neither do the bengals. Taylor once again did not have his team ready to start the nfl season. Maybe they’ll grow the season to 20 games and Zac’s method, circa 1955, of playing yourself into game play level proficiency will prove to be both a nostalgic and a prescient technique. Until then, enjoy Arby’s.

I’ll keep my pessimism about this game to myself. Go Bengals.
