I just read that since the falcons hired the Rams’ Raheem Morris away to be their new head coach - the Rams will get a third round compensatory pick in 2024 and a third round compensatory pick in 2025. I have not read anything about us getting compensatory picks for Callahan. Anyone know anything about this?

Agreed. Lou lost a lot of talent off the back end of the ‘22 team. I get the idea Jessie Bates was like another coach on the field. It takes time to develop that sort of acumen, even for talented guys taken high in the draft. Callahan is hard to evaluate because the team isn’t real clear on who the architect of the offense is, who’s really calling the plays, etc.

Hard for me to understand these betting lines. The Niners favored by 9.5 over the Packers? Way too much. The Ravens favored by 9.5 over the Texans? Also way too much. 9.5 points is a huge number for an nfl line. Both those underdogs have QBs playing lights out.

I think the division playoff games are the best the nfl has to offer. To me it is the best football weekend. Guys are playing like their lives depend on it. And this year’s games look to be great. All 4 are good matchups. We could end up with a dud or a blowout, but they appear incredibly competitive. I seriously will not miss a minute. The weather here sucks anyway.
