  1. I think McCarron gives them a better chance to win to be honest. That being said, I hope they keep his ass right on the bench. Do something productive like pointing out your wife to the camera man AJ !!
  2. Nothing against Brown or the other guys at those spots and hope to see more of them, but we are going to lose players at those spots. Iosivas is no Tee Higgins, so another big body guy (The 6'6 Wilson covers that) in the mid rounds would work for me. Jones seems like Boyd's replacement to me. That being said, I agree they both need to be getting more playing time at this point. The big RB helps more with the loss of Perine in my opinion. While I like Brown and want to see him get snaps as well, another RB will be needed. This guy is fast for his size, can block and pass catch. You don't see many big boy RB's these days and it wouldn't bother me to have one. Mixon is heading into his last season as well, so there's that. Again, I would have no issue if instead they took a DT, CB, TE or some other spot, but these were the guys staring me in the face. Honestly, I think the team is going to end up with their hands full in replacing guys moving forward anyway. I'm sure if I did the mock again, it would present something totally different again. I was just curious more than anything. GO JAGS !!!
  3. Just did a mock this morning to see what happened and got a heavy offensive draft. At least through 4 rounds. #13. JC Latham, OT, Alabama (New starting RT since Jonah leaves) #45. Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State (New starting LG since Volson's regressing) #77. Raheim Sanders, RB, Arkansas (6'2, 240lb RB who is fast and can catch, but coming off injury) #109. Johnny Wilson, WR, Florida State (New starting WR since Tee leaves) While I am well aware of the need on the other side of the ball, I really liked what was sitting on the board in these players. Obviously in this scenario, DJ will need to be brought back and the team would need to work free agency for fillers. With JaMarr's deal coming due, they face some real challenges.
  4. Might be the greatest fight song ever… LMAO !!
  5. For the record, Godzilla vs. Kong was a great flick. Not sure how many buildings Hong Kong has, but there was enough destruction for an eternity with the last fight. The robot Godzilla was badass !!
  6. Oh yeah… Jaguars. Go Jags !!
  7. Ok Netflix has Godzilla vs Kong from 2021. Maybe I will go back to the well one more time. I liked Kong Skull Island, so again, this is something that should speak to me… right?
  8. Seriously, I just watched Godzilla, King of Monsters last week. Fucking sucked. Complete waste of my time and yet everything about that movie screams something I should enjoy. I’m broken…
  9. I want to like those movies. I really do. I mean what’s not to like? Monsters, explosions, epic destruction, etc, etc… I just can’t get into it… Where’s my motivation here?
  10. I have tried and tried ever since I was young, up through even a week ago, to watch Godzilla and no matter how much I try I can’t get over how corny that shit is. Sorry, just not my thing. For those of you that do, enjoy !!
  11. Bring on Mr. Webb !!
  12. I wish I could get paid that much money and continually suck as much as Hue has as a head coach. Don't know why I didn't pursue the career path of shitty head coach of a football team. Who knew so much money could be had in the suckage field of work ??
  13. Well, at least they are making effort to bolster a weakness.
  14. Lets be honest, they could have signed the guy who played Fish on Barney Miller (yeah I'm old too) and improved that bullpen. I like this signing for sure. They need more work on the pitching though. Starters and relievers. I'm now in agreement with trading Jonathan India if it means getting a starting pitcher one way or another. Just looked and Abe Vigoda died like 7 years ago. Sadly he still might be an improvement...
  15. Give me a 5th round rookie QB that can hold the clip board and learn from Burrow. I said this going into last year and will say it again. Give me the guy who can make plays with his legs. Opposing defenses will have to make changes to account for that and change up their approach to account. If a play breaks down, he's not going to just sit in the pocket and die in place. Unfortunately, there aren't many guys like that in the upcoming draft in the later rounds.
  16. Hey Jags... welcome to the board. I was just down in Jacksonville a couple months ago and went by the stadium. Got some cool pics with my kids head in the mouth of the Jaguar statue out front. Then some angry dude came by and told me I can't do that. Anyway, had a good time. You should like your chances in this game and there really isn't much to discuss honestly. No Burrow = losing for our beloved Bengals. That's really the beginning and end of the conversation. Jake Browning is lucky to lead a turd out of his ass. Burrow = contending for Super Bowl. Browning = circling the Toilet Bowl. At least we will look cool in our white helmets !!
  17. That's what really sucks. So much conversation about how bad the backups were and nothing was done. Then came the preseason and there was so much suck on display it was unreal. Nothing was done. Now here we sit, sunk for the season and nothing can be done. How long until Mr. Webb gets a shot?
  18. Sure it's fair. I think the difference is, Burrow is elite and you deal with the consequences of getting hurt while playing the sport, when it comes to him. If he was just an average Joe (yeah that made me chuckle) people would be calling for his replacement. So, yeah, he's injury prone from that standpoint, but I and I'm sure no one else is calling for him to get dumped. Get better Joe !!
  19. Good luck to Ross, but I think I will work on keeping Tee knowing there's next to no shot at it happening.
  20. Good luck to Big Will !!
  21. Right up until he yawns, pulls his butthole muscle, and misses all of camp and preseason.
  22. At least there’s that Hoosier !!
  23. High school football is nearly over, college football is almost to the bowl games and the Bengals season is already shitcanned. Pretty sure this is where clinical depression sets in hard...
  24. Yeah, Mixon and his 8 carries is the coaching staff getting cute again and it's really irritating. "We just lost Burrow for the season and have Jake Browning the rest of the way." "So what's the game plan against the Steelers?" "You know what they won't see coming, rushing the ball less than 10 times." "CHAMPIONSHIP !!!"
  25. I get that as well. This isn't the first time Zac's play calling or lack of the running game have been called into question and won't be the last. I'm hoping they play more of the young guys to figure out what they look like, while simultaneously losing the remainder of their games. Fire Frank Pollack, look to draft a new RT and LG, along with a TE and Tee's replacement. Then something, ANYTHING, has to be done for them to get more pressure on the opposing QB's. I don't put much into what I see on offense, simply because a healthy Burrow changes all of that. Anyone thinking Browning was a possible answer, was simply not watching him during the preseason and I mentioned it many times. Not only is he not the guy with starter potential, I don't think he's even a guy that can come off the bench and get a few wins. So add backup QB to the list of needs. I don't know, I just figure the closer we pick at the top of each round can only help. Still a lot of football to be played and then who knows how they address all the other crap.
