  1. I’m already in the camp they won’t make it, so if they do it will be really exciting. For what it’s worth, I’m not rooting for them to lose this week.
  2. It really wouldn't take that much. Injuries happen, bad plays occur, all kinds of crazy. While I don't expect the Bengals in the playoffs when looking at their schedule, I can think of crazier things happening.
  3. Don't know if Browning is truly a starter in this league, but I've seen worse. Especially this year. That being said, since we control his rights for the 2024 season, I'm not as urgent on getting a backup QB in this draft. TE might be able to wait with Hudson on board and his relationship with Burrow, but he's on a 1 year deal and going on 30. I would still be good with a high upside TE we can lock in for the next 4-5 years with Burrow. RT is a must since I see Jonah moving on. I read about Araiza the other day as well and thought the same thing TJ. Nothing to lose bringing him in at this point. Nothing.
  4. Personally, I don't think it matters who they start. Both Dobbs and Mullens are equally terrible and not who you want starting. I just thought it was funny they didn't know. It's not like they are springing their secret weapon on the Bengals or something. Just pick the least smelly turd and move on. Does that mean the Bengals are definitely going to win the game? We already know the answer to that question. The Bengals have lost to more smellier turds than Dobbs and Mullens. All that being said, the Bengals win this game at home. If not, the glory of the last couple of wins is quickly gone. WHODEY !!!
  5. Now if only the Vikings knew who was going to start at QB... This is a game the Bengals should win.
  6. Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois ?? Hell Yeah !! Most would think he would be gone by the 18th pick. He's a tad undersized, but when watching him play, that is not a problem for him. Honestly, the Bengals could go in a few different directions and not be wrong, but DT is one of those directions for sure. I'm firmly in Camp Newton, along with about a handful of others.
  7. I remember watching a lot of Washington football that year. Browning and Ross were a lot of fun to watch together. That play is against Adore Jackson as well. First round pick of the Titans and is still playing for the Giants. The announcer said Jackson slipped, but if you look at the 13 second point, Ross made a quick move to the inside and stuck his foot in the ground. Jackson had his ankles broken by Ross, who went screaming down the sideline for the TD. What could have been for that dude.
  8. With Browning seemingly coming into his own and the new desire to pair college QB’s and their WR’s together again, there’s only one thing we MUST do to push this into the playoffs… SIGN JOHN ROSS !!!
  9. He sounds like Kermit
  10. Maybe that's the takeaway and win that comes from all this. I would be happy if that's the case.
  11. I remember that one as well. Not targeting AJ Green for an entire half. The epitome of getting too cute.
  12. Yep his issue should have been with his team, but flipping out on the sidelines is a bad look. Still hilarious…
  13. Right or wrong from the refs, Toney was clearly offsides regardless of him looking, asking, or anything else. The question of whether or not they give a warning is whatever to me. Mahomes losing his shit is hilarious.
  14. Don't know why, but I looked up AJ Green because of my thoughts on comparable throws from McCarron. How was I not aware that in any of the 5 playoff games for AJ Green, that toss from McCarron was his lone post season TD? Sad when you think about all the opportunities he had and how great of a WR he really was. Oh yeah, Vikings... Suck it
  15. Seeing Mahomes acting like that only makes me hate them more. Toney was clearly offsides. I read where the ref said while they "may" give a warning, Toney was so far offsides he obstructed the view of the sideline ref. Not only that, Toney never looked over to confirm he was lined up properly. The ref said, had he done that, he probably would have given the warning. Boo fuckin' hoo...
  16. And since it wasn't a TD, I can't find video of that pass anywhere.
  17. That would have been huge and I agree, that OPI call was weak.
  18. I have bashed the heck out of Browning and wanted nothing to do with him to start the season. Nice to be proven incorrect and see him be able to get wins for this team. Even though I still don't like the long term outlook for the team this season, it's nice to know it appears we have a decent backup. Seeing as how there aren't enough starters to go around (especially this year) that's a nice problem to have. He's an exclusive rights free agent as well, so the Bengals have the ability to bring him back without him simply walking away. I like a QB room that looks like Burrow, Browning and McCarron, although I think McCarron won't want to stay as a #3. He's older and wants to be in the league, so you never know. Bottomline... I feel better about the state of our QB room moving forward.
  19. This should be another Bengals win against the Vikings. Them and their stupid SKOL chant can kiss my ass.
  20. Browning with cramps apparently. Get control of your time of the month and get your ass back in there Jake.
  21. McCarron is no slouch for a guy coming off the practice squad.
  22. That looked like the same toss to AJ Green in the playoff game. Nice toss by AJ there. Too bad for Browning. Hope he’s ok and gets back.
  23. I need to pull an old jacuzzi tub and am dreading it. Mostly because I don’t want to bother with renovating the area. Magic Erasers ?? Yeah awesome !!
  24. Saw that as well. Crazy. That dude better pitch, hit and play a couple infield positions for that kind of coin !!
  25. I wish Volson would decide on what he wants to be when he grows up.
