  1. I think it all boils down to what Higgins and his agent want in contract demands. The WR tag for 2024 is expected to be north or $21 million. If they want $25 million per year or something higher, I think the tag is a consideration. If he wants somewhere around the value of the tag, then a long term deal may be feasible. Looking at Jessie Bates, he wanted somewhere around $17-$18 million per year. The Bengals wanted to keep him, but not at that number. The safety tag that year was roughly $12-$13 million. That's a no brainer use of the tag and they let him walk the next year. I think Tee is important to what this team does in the future. Let him go and his replacement becomes a priority. A solid to above average #2 WR is obviously important in the way the game goes right now, when throwing the ball all over. If you were to look at the start of the year and the rankings of teams with the best WR duo's, only two of those teams have been eliminated from the playoffs heading into the last week of the season (Bengals and Chargers). While that list isn't set in stone, 100% consensus, it provides a good look at success when teams have those players. I love Boyd and would hate to see him anywhere but in Cincinnati, but when it comes to who should get priority, that should be Chase and Higgins.
  2. Coach Taylor is 9-20 against AFC North teams during his Bengals coaching tenure. He's only had a single season that his divisional record was a successful one (2021). While they have had some success despite their shit showings against division rivals, it's a problem coach needs to fix. I like coach Taylor and hope he sticks around. I like his leadership and the culture he has helped created within the organization. There have been a lot of changes within the organization since his arrival and I as a fan am appreciative in seeing that. All that being said, this is a coach with a 36-44-1 record. Agree that a healthy Burrow goes a long way. Hoping 2024 is a return to our expectations for our Bengals !!
  3. Now you did it. A 500 yard, 4 TD, 0 INT clinic incoming
  4. RT, right tackle. Should have clarified.
  5. RT, DT, WR and CB are all equal priorities in my opinion. I think Tanner Hudson and Burrow’s connection will help them, but they will still need more and Hudson is a FA, although he shouldn’t cost much. TE is a close second to those other positions and would prefer a veteran in that role in a longer deal than a one year patch. Hell, when is pass rush NOT a priority as well ?? As always with the draft, who falls we weren’t expecting ??
  6. They have got to find a way to win within the division in 2024 and I don't see the division getting weaker next season either. Still have to play Dallas, KC and Philadelphia despite finishing last in the division? That's not nice. They better go undefeated against Denver, Las Vegas, Washington, New England, LA Chargers, NY Giants and Carolina. The offseason news as I see it right now is as follows: 2024 Free Agency led by: Higgins, Reader, Awuzie, and Jonah, not to mention contributing LB's, WR's and damn near every TE. 2025 Free Agency led by: Chase, Hendrickson, BJ Hill, Hilton, Karras, Mixon and McPherson to start. Those names alone are enough to make even a casual fan realize big changes are coming. It's easy for people to say that so and so should be replaced. Ok, fine. By who and how? They have a lot of contributors on this roster and I don't think it's easy by any stretch. Personally, I would like to see a replacement for Reader in the draft and wouldn't mind if it was a first rounder either. Give me a younger, healthier veteran CB to replace Awuzie, as I don't want to go rookie there. I'm thinking new RT in the draft as well. Then there's Higgins. I think he's gone simply because that's a lot of money to tie up in the WR corps and they don't keep him over Chase. After that, it may not be as hard to bring some of the lesser known contributors back. Give me TE Dalton Schultz from the Texans on a 3 year deal to pair with Tanner Hudson as well. Just saying...
  7. Considering how many new faces we will likely see in 2024, who cares ?? As much as I enjoyed those few wins with Browning and still being in the mix, things ended how I expected them to. Now that it has, I have to ask.... Are the wins against the Jags, Colts, and Vikings going to keep you satisfied through the offseason or would you rather be talking about our upcoming top 10 pick? I said after Burrow went down that I would have preferred them just lose, because next to never will you see a team with an elite QB picking that high in the draft. I'd rather be discussing which #1 rated player at either DT, RT, or CB we think would be best for us, as opposed to a second level guy we hope pans out. Such is life though. It's not like the draft is ever going to depress me though...
  8. Start McCarron !!! I mean, it’s not like it matters. Honestly, I wouldn’t start anyone that I’m truly worried about suffering an injury that, at this point in time, would impact their availability in 2024. An ACL this week means losing that player for all of next season. Just be smart…
  9. They are going to need a replacement for Higgins, unless they miracle his ass into a contract that’s reasonable. Chuck and/or Losivas aren’t capable of that task. Not saying anyone was suggesting that. Just saying. That replacement screams draft.
  10. Just lose baby !! 21 point win incoming… Yes, fire Pollack quick and hire someone quick to help determine who they want/need before free agency and the draft get here. Find some way, ANY way to get some Burfict physicality, without the two cent head. They have more work than I think most realize to handle this offseason.
  11. It wasn’t on my list but I’ll be sure to leave it that way. Can’t say the musical aspect made it more appealing.
  12. For what it’s worth… Florida State got ass raped on national television today. So much for being mad about being left out of the top 4.
  13. I realize they had a true freshman in after Brown went down early, but 3 points ?? It’s not like the weather was bad, they were playing in a dome. They went from having a mediocre QB to not having any. Back to the Chiefs. THIS game is truly a “must win” to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Defeat equals elimination.
  14. Wait, wait, wait... I thought it was the Walmart parking lot all the screaming was going on. Now I'm confused. Where's my motivation here? I mean this changes my interpretation of the whole damn song. Jay, for clarification of Jesus' screaming, growls, and an occasional guttural BLEGH... It's a love song !!! I would hate for you to have a misinterpretation of what this board is really about.
  15. For the love of God… Thanks Santa. I hope you step in reindeer shit and choke on your cookies you fat fuck !! Merry Christmas everyone !!
  16. So maybe Bill Belichick would like to go back to being a defensive coach at years end…. Lol…
  17. I’m back to rooting for the Texans. They have a tough matchup with the Browns today and are without Stroud and Will Anderson, so that sucks, but they still have a shot. They have had a much better year than most expected them to have. Injuries suck !!
  18. Yeah this is a list minus something crazy happening. Can’t envision someone truly thinking they go into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs. Shame, this game should have been so much more.
  19. Awuzie looks done at this point. Maybe he played tentative coming off the injury, but he’s clearly not the player he was at this point and they miss Cam badly.
  20. Couldn’t agree more Stripes !! That is something nice to have come from all this, because outside of this QB would have been on my draft wish list.
  21. Oh yeah, we need CB help BAD !!!
  22. Fun while it lasted. I had the Chiefs as a loss on the road to start with, so this sucks fat donkey balls. They would need a massive amount of help and a miracle in Arrowhead.
  23. How do you say Yinzer in Japanese ?? Konnichiwa bitches !!!
