  1. Thank God. He’s one of the new guys I cannot wait to watch play.
  2. They follow that one up with another ass whooping !! They have now given up 36 run in the last two games. Pitching anyone ?? Maybe we have a new venture for TJ’s dead gramma !!
  3. Oh don’t get it twisted… I cannot wait to watch the game tomorrow night. Don’t care who will be on the field, football is back. It could be Mother Mary of the Blind playing and I would tune in to watch. Totally pumped !!
  4. Shouldn’t really be surprising to be honest. I think people either didn’t know or forget that Jonah was a freshmen All American at RT his first season at Alabama. It’s part of the reason his reluctance has irritated me. He’s more than capable and then showing his versatility can only pay off when he hits free agency next year. Just get after it Jonah, we have a Super Bowl to win !!
  5. Caring what any of these idiots spew is an exercise in futility. You would be better off driving nails into the back of your hand then putting stock in those clowns. Burrow owns a 5-2 post season record with those losses coming in the AFCCG and the Super Bowl. Pretty sure having a QB who consistently has his team deep in the playoffs is a good thing. We aren’t talking Dalton who took his team to the playoff 4 straight years and could never manage a single win. (Sorry Andy)
  6. Soooooo… When was the last time a team scored 9 runs and lost by 11 ?? Some nights, it’s just not your night.
  7. They also traded for a reliever, but I can't say as I know much about Sam Moll, outside of him being a lefty, which we needed. The cost for Moll was a RHP who was rated #28 in our farm system. Joe Boyle.
  8. And somehow the Brewers get beat by the Nationals who suck ass and we win the opener against the Cubbies. 1.5 games in first place. Who would have guessed that on the 1st of August the Reds would be in first place? HINT - NO ONE !!
  9. Jonah won’t be commanding shit if he gets beat out by a guy that hasn’t been able to beat out anyone. Couple that with an injury history and teams should be cautious. He’s not serving his own purpose in not going after this year like a beast. Too much money riding on him not being a little bitch.
  10. I'm cautiously optimistic at this point. I don't think teams have to share injury information during this time of the season, but I could be wrong. That being the case, I don't want to sway too much to either side of Burrow's injury. Week 1 is September 10, so as of now they 6 full weeks until then. Obviously he will have to be practicing before then, but I think there is time. My concern is rust like we saw early in the season last year.
  11. The Reds take the series against the Dodgers, the Brewers aren’t consistent unless playing the Reds and here we are back in first place again. NICE !!
  12. I don’t know why I saw “Cockring” when reading “Cochran”…. Surely that is some sort of character flaw. Well… add it to the list I suppose.
  13. I really hope he continues to do well.
  14. Wonder why Taylor got pissed? I mean typically guys don’t wear sleeves like that for the fun of it. They tend to be a bit restrictive. It’s whatever though.
  15. Was there ever any discussion about why he was wearing a sleeve on the leg when the injury happened? Did he hurt that previously or is that just something he likes to wear? Just curious….
  16. And again when the Reds don’t play the Brewers, they win. 6-5 against the Dodgers in the series opener.
  17. That does suck.
  18. I thought she was still in training camp?
  19. I’m fucking sick just watching that shit.
  20. Yeah still going to go throw up
  21. I look at Mike Brown how I have looked at Chad Johnson through the years. It's been a love hate relationship. I'm cool with Chad (no more fuck yous) and am glad he was voted into the Ring of Honor. I hated the 90's and hated Mike Brown and get why others do, but I will admit it would be fun to see the old man holding the Lombardi as well. Trench coat, stupid hat and all... Winning really does cure all.
  22. I don't ultimately care how anything comes to be when on the road to the Super Bowl, but it does intrigue me as a fan. From my perspective and wanting to figure it out, any one who has given even a little bit of their time to this franchise can figure out the reasons for change. Mike Brown has further distanced himself as a decision maker, the influence of others stepping into that void are better than he was. Marvin Lewis brings in some changes and sees some success. They make a change to bring in a young coach, with a different mindset and seemingly gave him a ton of latitude in how he's going to build the culture of the team. They don't get cute in trading the #1 pick and take Burrow. The team continues to be a player in free agency without braking the bank with the highest paid guy out there, but solid players that fit the culture. Burrow gets him knee imploded, which ends up putting them in a position to draft Chase. The choice between Chase and Sewell was correct (in my opinion) and this team was moving like it never had before. They have continued to make smart player decisions in who to keep and who to let go. Changed philosophy on naming rights, sponsorships, restructuring contracts, extending key players smartly and cultivating a way to keep super stars. So maybe I do care in how things come to be, but again, for others outside the organization to just yell "MIKE BROWN" is simply ignorant. WHOFUCKINGDEY !!!
  23. Yeah, totally get what you are saying for sure.
  24. I get that TJ, but my issue is I no longer view Mike Brown as having much power behind decisions being made anymore. However, the minute an argument is made about the Bengals, it's because their owner is this or that. It's a lazy viewpoint that no longer holds water. Two things can exist simultaneously and should be viewed in that manner. Mike Brown was a horrible owner, who was cheap and more than likely was a large reason the organization failed more than succeeded. However, the organization that is minutely influenced by Mike Brown, has had great success in it's recent past. What I take issue with is when people makes comments like, the Bengals are going to fuck up the Burrow contract because Mike Brown. That again is simply lazy and not true.
