And the season comes to an end tonight. All around it’s hard to be disappointed. Most people expected them to be in the basement most of the season. No one made a projection of them still being in the race with 3 games remaining in the season. Get some rest, some pitching, and get after it in 2024 !!

Maybe this is where the one year TE deals die and the 2024 draft sees a more permanent solution. God knows some stability there for a 4-5 year rookie wage deal won't complicate matters. Too early to ask for Brock Bowers in the first next year ??

Maybe I can hire someone to handle the leaves this year after all then.

Smith is more than capable and I was excited for the Bengals to add a "healthy" version of himself. While it's only been two games, injuries obviously continue to be a concern for Smith. Whether that's just dumb luck or something he's just going to continue to struggle with, it's a problem. Ask any Vikings fan. While they loved what he brought when healthy, that just didn't happen very often. He's like a less talented Tyler Eifert, but I got excited when I heard how excited Burrow and Chase were to bring him in. Needless to say, I was expecting FAR more at this point than what we got.

Well Irv Smith Jr. Is still injured. Additionally Chuck Sizzle hasn’t practiced in a couple of days due to a thumb issue.

Apparently Joe has been speaking to Aaron Rodgers about his own experiences with calf injuries and Rodgers had some good thoughts for him as well. Whatever helps him get back to throwing the ball better. You can tell it’s affecting not only his mobility, but his accuracy. I think that makes the drops by WR’s more glaring. You know he’s struggling to make the throw so when the ball hits the WR’s hands, they need to come down with that shit.

They aren't out of it quite yet though. They are a game and a half out of the last wild card spot. They need the Cubs and the Marlins to lose for them to have a chance. The Cubs and Marlins have 4 games remaining and the Reds have 3. Any way around, this season was fun for much longer than I recall a Reds season being in a long time. They are young and need some pitching heading into next year. If they can do that, they should be in it next year too. This is a young team with a lot of talent.

I'm suspecting our defense will have another above average game against the Titan offense. I expect multiple sacks and a turnover or two. Their offense just isn't as solid as it was even a couple seasons ago. The Titans defensive strength is in their front 7, but the secondary isn't something I think will hold up against our WR's. That is if the offense can perform like it did in the 2nd half of the Rams game. Move guys around, getting the running game going, and play action. I don't know why this feels like a win to me, but it does. I think this team is far from peak performance, but the 2nd half Monday was nice to see.

Hell McCarron was sitting out there for Christ’s sake. I would take him (and the Bengals did) over Siemian.

Everyone up in arms about the Jets QB situation and trying to address the problem. The fact their answer was Trevor Siemian is laughable at best. All they did was drop another turd in the toilet.

I'm hoping for a win and getting this team back to .500. That would feel pretty big in getting this win on the road as well. If the concern is with the Titans' front 7, maybe see some jumbo packages in there to help that concern. I just feel like a win here for some reason or another. I think the team has to be more relaxed in getting the win last night as well.

Additionally, I may have missed someone else commenting on it, but... The white out end zones and B on the 50 looked really fucking cool last night. The fans all in white was also well done. Great game to watch down at the stadium !!!

1-2 and not 0-3 The only stat I care about at the moment. I'm sure there are other random stats out there about Burrow's record in primetime games during the regular season. Maybe something to due with wearing the all white unis.

I mean I would hate to pin any future losses from the team, due to your lack of posting, on your shoulders. Just make it happen !! Lol... I mean, I forgot to wear my Geno Atkins jersey to the AFC Championship Game and we all know how that turned out. My son will never let me forget how I let the entire city of Cincinnati down when they needed me most.

There were times last night where the o-line was giving Burrow plenty of time. Burrow did not look comfortable and seemed to rush things when he didn't have to, but love the toughness. My hands down favorite play of the game... Just under 5 minutes left in the 3rd, 1st and 10, Chase Brown is the single back, directly behind Burrow. Joe snaps the ball and fakes a pitch to Brown with ALL motion going to the left. Except Chase and Tee. Joe rolls to his right and finds a wide open Chase for a long gain. That was a play I don't think anyone saw coming. It was brilliant to watch unfold from the upper deck. While I could do without the long plays given up, the defense was really good last night. No matter the situation, they just held. Very well done !! Please run Mixon more.

Now just build off of that 2nd half momentum and they will be on to something.

That’s getting cute. Our QB is gimped, out of sync and generally playing like ass. You know what they won’t see coming? 31 passes in the 1st half !! That’ll trip them up. Fucking stupid.

Getting fucking jobbed by the refs tonight.

Here’s my thing… When he first got injured, he sat for like 5 weeks going through rehab and shit. Plays week 1 and 2, back to being injured and resting the majority of the week. He was already rusty from no preseason and then looked very much like dog shit week 1 and 2. Ok better smelling dog shit in week 2, but still lost. He can’t be any more in sync than he has been to this point and runs the risk of further injury. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t.

So it appears Burrow will be starting tonight per the reports. If so, I'm a little torn. I always want him on the field, but it didn't sound like he got that much work this week. If that is the case, I can't see this ending well either. Will be yelling in the stands nonetheless !!
