Stripes Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Two stops, both of which have to be tight enough that they don't go on 4th down. Good luck with that Quote
Stripes Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Most obvious possible outcome, and they're unprepared for it. Quote
glasgowbengal Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Third and 15 and that’s what they serve up. Get fucked Quote
volcom69 Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Idiots you let him run 18 yards give me a break defense Quote
Stripes Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Anyway, now that we're finished pretending 4-8 teams make the playoffs, let's get back to business. Fire everyone. 3 Quote
volcom69 Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Two freak plays my gosh, the season dies with two tipped passes ugh so dumb Quote
glasgowbengal Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 If Golden thinks he can run a man-to-man D without a spy against Josh Allen he should be fucking walking home, the useless prick Quote
Prophecy Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 How the hell you let Allen run for 18 on 3rd and 15? Geno Stone whiffing on a tackle, helps Quote
volcom69 Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Well this defense was never good enough anyways Quote
Prophecy Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Maybe now Joe Burrow will stop trying to save Zac Taylor's job? Quote
Allentown21 Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 First off. I can't remember a game like this in a long time. It took an extremely special day from Allen to beat Burrow. Burrow is frickin great. He just is. And I'm honestly shocked. It took a little luck but that's what it takes to beat burrow and those great wrs Nothing but respect and there is always real hope for a super bowl with your QB. What a frickin game 1 Quote
TJJackson Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 so the draft first three picks, in no particular order: a safety who can tackle a defensive end who can tackle a linebacker who can tackle remaining picks: players who can tackle Quote
Stripes Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 First round: a new owner Second round: Tobin's replacement Third round: A written apology to Bengaslzone 1 1 Quote
HoosierCat Posted December 7, 2025 Author Report Posted December 7, 2025 9 in the loss column. You know what that means: losing record LOCKED. Fire everyone. Quote
Saintsfan1 Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Do you trust the Dolphins and Browns to beat the Steelers? Or the Ravens to win week 18 in Pittsburgh? Quote
gregcook69 Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 We VENT! We VENT some more! Then, we actually VENT even more! Yet . . . for us ole timers, we KNOW what the Brown family WILL do . . . yet . . . . we hold tight to that minuscule, slim to none chance, that, after 57 years, they will FINALLY realize, that what they’ve been doing hasn’t worked for decades, so let’s try something else! After all, if you want to stay a fan, what else can we do?? Another season goes by with status quo . . . but there’s always next year, and maybe THAT will be the year the Browns turn it around! ”Excpect the worse, hope for the best!” Maybe they should put that statement up over the doorway, at Paycor, that the Bengals leave out of to go to the field and the players can tap it on the way out? COB Posted December 7, 2025 Report Posted December 7, 2025 Tee’s grey matter is taking a beating. Dude sells out to make every catch, but those instances where he lands on his back and the back of his head gets the whiplash effect, wham right into the turf - disturbing. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 8, 2025 Report Posted December 8, 2025 Interest in this season 0%. Just lose. Quote
COB Posted December 8, 2025 Report Posted December 8, 2025 Josh Allen will destroy you if you go nuts trying to sack him. Just have to do the containment rush, keep him boxed in and hope his receivers fall down or something. That inside rush that lead to his soul-crushing touchdown run was ill advised, at best. Quote

When Cincinnati was up 28-18, I thought they would just go cover 2, and basically force buffalo to go 10-12 plays essentially killing the clock or forcing a mistake. I think they anticipated an obvious pass on 2nd and 10, and basically wanted to end the game. Dawkins blocked the inside guy, Allen made 1 guy miss. I agree with you it was over aggressive and not letting the game naturally flow into your hands... The Bengals pulled the Queen out to quickly as a chess reference I personally thought we lost on the cook fumble. This was a game where two hall of fame QBs were making insane throws on 3rd and 4th down... Over and over again. It was ridiculous Quote
volcom69 Posted December 8, 2025 Report Posted December 8, 2025 The Zac Taylor era can be summed up as just not good enough. They are fun to watch, they put up a good fight, they make it interesting, there always there in the end, but never good enough to take that next step. He had one great season where this team got hot at the right time and made a hell of a run it was awesome, fun and exciting, but in the end was not good enough to win that big game. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted December 8, 2025 Report Posted December 8, 2025 It's really a shame because a win would have made this weekend's game against the Ravens at home really fun. I haven't been to a game since week 2 and would have even considered heading down to the stadium for that one. Thanks Bengals, you just saved me 100's of dollars !! 1 1 Quote

I'd say 2022 was the missed opportunity. They were the best team in football the 2nd half. Lost 3 starters on the OL and lost a close one in AFC Champ game. Really just the same organization failure once they paid Dalton. They had a killer roster for 2 seasons and once they had to pay the key pieces they were never able to add or replenish to get them over the top. That's the danger in bringing back Tobin and Zac. Although I think they will because you know when Burrow plays he's elite with Zac and I don't think they'll be daring enough to go in another direction. Quote
