Lol I'm not worried about the Browns. Who have they beaten outside of the Steelers, who they usually beat at home?

This game has to be a big time confidence booster for Joe now.

Joe needs a head start to get hot. That happened in 2022 and 2024. Idk why but Burrow has usually played well against good teams after getting warmed up beating mediocre teams.

I was concerned about their OL over the off-season. I wish it was addressed.

The schedule does get easier after this but can the Bengals win in Madrid against the Falcons and then beat a rested Steelers after that? Not sure why they declined the week 10 bye. It's not over though Ravens only have one TD

Lamar is out a few weeks? Opportunity. Not that I wasn't expecting the road teams to win again.

Chase Brown got a big boost off of that incredible 2024 offense. He has to rely on Burrow getting hot again.

And you wonder why Patrick Mahomes has gone to the five of the last seven SBs. And since Burrow three of the last four but last three playoffs he was in. Allen can't beat him, and Burrow can't get to him. The league will crack if Lamar beats him.

The defense hasn't disappointed too much outside of the Steelers game. When you hold Jacksonville to 22 points you're doing something right. I'm worried about Burrow though. It seems like he's lost his rhythm. Of course, he always starts slow, but he played much more electric at this point in 2024. I know the OL is not great, but Burrow has not been Burrow since 2024. I do feel this game is a big test.

Bengals could still tie the Ravens if Lamar misses time again. They have the Dolphins, Ravens, Titans, Falcons, and Commanders in their next five games. If they can't go 4-1 at least there then idk. They should be 6-3 when they play the Saints if so. I think Bengals need to pursue an offensive trade.

Honestly, I'm concerned about Burrow.

I never thought that. Really the Bengals have nothing behind Chase and Tee. And when you don't have the best OL, it's hard to trust other receivers consistently.

I felt it was just as important as the defense. When you're competing against Lamar Jackson in the division, you have to challenge him offensively because that is also a weakness of his besides facing a tough defense.

I know you are upset about this. To tell you the truth, I expected a split before the season. Bengals did beat the Texans week 2 and the Bucs week 1. They do have a tough game against Jacksonville, but Jacksonville has owned the AFC North when they are good, and I expect them to beat the Ravens and Steelers if they win that game. You do have Dolphins and Titans in the next four games. If the Bengals can beat the Steelers week 10, I think the possibly more challenging games will be Jacksonville, Baltimore, Atlanta(idk why I think this, maybe because of Robinson), and New Orleans before a possible run.

I had a odd feeling about this game. Steelers do one thing well, beat good teams in their division, and especially when they come off humiliating losses. Still time though.
