TJJackson Posted November 16, 2025 Report Posted November 16, 2025 The Red Nosed Reindeer completed 75% of his passes shrug we have a long history of making rookie and backup QBs look like Montana Quote
volcom69 Posted November 16, 2025 Report Posted November 16, 2025 Good coaches and good teams find a way to win even when players leave. They have not figured that out and coaching has been crap. So guess now we’re stuck Quote
TJJackson Posted November 16, 2025 Report Posted November 16, 2025 somehow, Geno Stone was second in tackles with 7 I only remember him missing tackles, not making any Quote
TJJackson Posted November 16, 2025 Report Posted November 16, 2025 I think it would be a big mistake to put Burrow in even if he plays the best football of his life, he cant overcome this escort service, err, "defense" but he could get injured again. why bother? kinda extra sad because the OL does seem to have raised their protection game quite a bit Quote
glasgowbengal Posted November 16, 2025 Report Posted November 16, 2025 Browns looking reasonable against Ravens. Baltimore has lost 3 straight on the lake. Browns win and we fall to the division cellar Quote
volcom69 Posted November 16, 2025 Report Posted November 16, 2025 Welp looks like Chase spit on Ramsey, even though he denies it there is a video that shows he does. So I’m guessing a game suspension incoming for him. I’ll tell you what this team is a freaking disaster, and it all starts at the top. Please blows this shit show up! Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 16, 2025 Author Report Posted November 16, 2025 Both the Bengals and Steelers are undisciplined teams. If you want to know why look to their head coaches. Quote
volcom69 Posted November 17, 2025 Report Posted November 17, 2025 Yea coaching makes a real difference, just take a look around at those teams who hired real NFL coaches and how they turned there teams around. Bengals really should look into making huge changes, but we all know that won’t happen. They will toss this up to Burrows injury and Zac and the boys will be back another season! Yea for us Quote

Flacco was never as good as Joe Burrow. He got figured out...again. Bengals had opportunities to win this game, but their offense put the defense back on the field. Reminds me of the Saints in those 7-9 years. The defense had problems, but the Saints had so many offensive struggles due to their oline that ultimately got their defense ran over. Thing is Saints offense was not as good as the Bengals. Elite weapons are needed to overcome poor protection. Joe is not scoring 12 points or turning the ball over, which led to 14 of the Steelers 34 points. If Burrow plays in this game Bengals win. Quote
COB Posted November 17, 2025 Report Posted November 17, 2025 Monday morning at Paycor Stadium: Katie: “Duke, we just don’t have the players to win. And I don’t see any avenue to getting those players. We’re fucked.” Tobin: “Maybe I didn’t break it, it just seems like I broke it. Maybe it just seems like we exist at all, and we really aren’t even here. I don’t know anything, no one knows anything.” Katie: “My dad said if you quote Chekhov anymore in the office you were going to be in trouble.” 1 Quote
TJJackson Posted November 17, 2025 Report Posted November 17, 2025 Kinda pointless "if Burrow plays" to make the playoffs.....we have to win all remaining games. every single one we're not going to win every single game whether he plays or not but what could we do? Get him injured again Quote

COB Posted November 17, 2025 Report Posted November 17, 2025 Monday morning meeting in Paycor Stadium: Mike: “it has been reported to me that Duke Tobin has again been quoting Anton Chekov. I’ve warned you Duke, and I don’t want to do this. But harsh consequences are on the horizon for you.” Tobin: “Do you know what punishments I've endured for my crimes, my sins? None. I am proof of the absurdity of men's most treasured abstractions. A just universe wouldn't tolerate my existence.” Mike: “More Chekhov! That’s it! Tobin: “That wasn’t Chekhov, it was Brent Weeks.” Mike: “Brent? The horse jumping instructor at my granddaughter’s stable?” Tobin: “No. Brent Weeks is a philosopher.” Mike: “Blasted! I didn’t want to do this Duke, but you leave me no choice! You no longer have the third parking space from the front. You now have the fifth reserved parking space from the front.” Kellie Ackerman, Corporate Partnership Account Manager: “Oh fuck yes! Movin’ on up!” Tobin: “All that you see will soon perish; those who witness this perishing will soon perish themselves. Die in extreme old age or die before your time – it will all be the same.” Mike: “What?” 2 Quote

Would you rather wrestle a squirrel the size of a triceratops or 100 triceratops the size of squirrels? The inner workings of your answer ultimately depicts the reasons for all your failings on the football field. If you think long, you think wrong... 1 Quote

Get him injured again I do think it's possible. Lamar isn't doing what he did last year. Chase will be fresh off a suspension too, so very little fatigue. Then Joe faces Josh Allen. If Joe is a better winner than Josh, he'll show it in that game. Josh isn't likely winning his division and headed straight for a wild card meeting on the road against whoever wins the AFC North. Then the Ravens rematch Dare I say it, I hope Bengals can beat the Ravens because Lamar has never had an easier path to the SB. Quote
AMPHAR Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 Burrow would not be practicing without medical clearance. If he's cleared to return to the roster then you play him end of story. If you are worried about him getting hurt with 6/7 games remaining. Then you are really saying "Trade Burrow this offseason." Because if you are worried about 6/7 games, well then there won't be a season shorter than 17 games the rest of his life. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 Do I want to trade Burrow? No, not by any stretch of the imagination. However, he clearly isn't superman and won't change the trajectory of this team until the defense is addressed. Him playing isn't going to move the needle all that much. With 7 games remaining, I expect at least 4 losses with or without him. That being the case, don't play him, lose 3 more and take your top 5 pick. Will that happen? No. I expect to see Burrow on the field at the first opportunity they have. I just won't be in support of that decision. 1 1 Quote
