But he is really bringing guys down the instant he touches them. Wonder if he'll end-up at SS, if he doesn't work out for some reason at CB. Assume he's going to take a while to develop in coverage. Stripes
Yes. Stat sheet will tell lies. This was a GREAT game by Joe Burrow. The batted balls are infuriating, but also I think attributable to defensive game planning. Zac and Brian need to figure that out. Also I thought it was overall a very good night for Zac the play caller.
membengal
The "joe burrow gonna suffer now that he doesn't have chase" narrative taking fatal blows. 103.3 passer rating, 8 TDs - 3 INTS (and those two today were not on him) since they lost Chase. Stripes
I think it would be perfectly reasonable to call Burrow the second-best quarterback in the league right now, behind only Mahomes. Obviously Allen is right there too, but he has also regressed a little.

COB
Such a great win. The score was closer than the game. Our first drive suffered from an uncalled PI on Minkah, then one of their drives were helped by a couple iffy holding/pi calls. 3 out of the last 4 from our hated rivals. But for aged LS injury, we win all 4. Ravens looking less right now. Tough road ahead but at least we’re on the road.
ArmyBengal
Happy to get to 6-4 with a win over the Steelers. Fuck those guys. Eat a dick Tomlin. Get ready to play the Titans now.
membengal
So easy to see why guys want to play with Joe burrow
AMPHAR
O-line gave up some plays but an overall good game against that front. Need to bring it back for Titans. Rolling up 400+ and 37 point on the road. Great offensive performance. The Bengals need to bury their "Pickens" into a decade of losing so he'll become a lockeroom nightmare. COB
Has anyone heard anything about our kickoff game? With our analytics addicted coach, is it possible that our short kickoffs were intentional? Could stats show returned kicks lead to worse outcomes for returning team than touchbacks or fair catches? Difficult to believe our kicker had that many complete misses on kickoffs.

There has always been one end of that stadium that is a beast to kick into. They closed off one end of that stadium a few years back but it has been a bear kicking into. AMPHAR
Love hearing Steeler fans cry about the Bengals talking smack after a loss. Apparently they are mad at the Collins comments concerning Watt and the Bengals defense stating their offense was predictable. They should be thankful they didn't get the sweep this year. AMPHAR
Just for the record. The Bengals beat the Steelers 5 out of 6 in the early/mid 80s and then 6 in a row late 80s/early 90s. The current 4 out of 5 would be the 3rd best streak vs. Steelers The last back to back in Pittsburgh was accomplished in 2005 and 2006.

HoosierCat
Speaking of kicking, props to Chrisman for a top-notch NFL debut. Kevin Huber, your retirement dinner and ceremonial gold watch await.
TJJackson
Love Huber Love Harris/Nugent but this is a young man's game, and now was as good a time as any to move on They were both great, and I will always appreciate their contributions
TJJackson
When will Huber be released? Kind of an uncomfortable thought I think it is fairly likely some playoff bound team with a less than average punter would scoop him right up
membengal
Huber is like the 30th best punter in the nfl. No playoff hopeful is grabbing him and we shouldn’t have waited as long as we did to move on.
TJJackson
I dont see him as 30th best, but if a playoff bound team has a weakness at punter, they would likely grab him, imo
membengal
He;s literally, statistically, bottom 5 in the NFL. And 37. No one is going to scoop him up.
