Man, there’s just no pleasing some people.

Bengals fans: this sucks, we’ll never win a Super Bowl with Marvin Lewis and Andy Dalton

(Bengals fire Marvin, cut Andy, hire Zac, draft Joey Franchise, make it to Super Bowl)

Bengals fans: ugh, season is so looooooong now

:D :D :D

There’s a lot at stake here, and I think they know it. The AFC has about 87 great or highly drafted quarterbacks, and even an improved Bengals team is going to be challenged to get back over the next few seasons.

Good lord are we lucky to have Burrow. Let’s collect this Lombardi right now while it’s just sitting there in plain sight.

This could be Mike's last chance to bring one home for his dad.

Why is no one talking about this?  It's Paul's signature inside the new jersey collar that is the reason for our appearance in the Super Bowl.

They placed his signature in the collar and conducted a transmigration spell, which actually placed the spirt of Paul Brown into every one of the jerseys worn by the players.  When worn during game day, the players are actually being motivated BY PAUL BROWN.
(The 7 losses were due to missing Tibetan pubic hair for the spell)

Don't believe me ??  Well let this little nugget of information blow your mind...

If you take all of Paul Brown's playoff games he appeared in + all of his playoff wins + all of his playoff losses + the Bengals wins from this regular season - the last two digits of this year and what do you get ??  56  That's right, I said it... 56.  What Super Bowl is this ??  56...  Coincidence ??  I think not.
What does it all mean ??

FUCKING CHAMPIONSHIP !!!

I just hope they fire their best shot.

1st Superbowl was a comedy of error in the first half.   Collinsworth fumble,  9ers squib kicking/recover.    Then of course the infamous 2nd half goal line stand that was highlighted by mental mistakes.

2nd Superbowl - Wilson fiasco.  Then you lose your best defender.

Don't need a perfect game to win but let's avoid the snake bit type crap that has you for years wondering what could have been.   If the Rams are better that day then so be it but at least fire your best shot.

Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale, the Houston furniture salesman known to place giant hedge bets, has done it again -- this time with the biggest single wager he's ever placed.

On Thursday, McIngvale drove across the Texas border into Louisiana, pulled over at a gas station, logged onto his mobile betting account with Caesars Sportsbook and placed $4.5 million in bets on the underdog Cincinnati Bengals at +170 odds to upset the favored Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI. If the Bengals spring the upset, the bet would net $7.7 million.

"I had to make like twenty $200,000 bets to make it work," McIngvale told ESPN on Thursday night. "But I want to thank Caesars for taking it."

Caesars Sportsbook said it was the second-largest bet the company has ever taken on the Super Bowl, eclipsing a $4.9 million money-line bet at -900 odds on the heavily-favored St. Louis Rams to beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI. The Patriots won 20-17.

"The Joe Burrow magic is pulling fans in, especially in Louisiana with his college roots," Ken Fuchs, head of sports at Caesars Sportsbook, said in a release. "With this $4.5 million bet on Joe and the Bengals, Mack will make history again."

McIngvale often uses the sports betting market to mitigate his risk on furniture giveaways. For example, this past baseball season, he spread around $13 million in bets on the Houston Astros to win the World Series, while offering to refund anyone who spent more than $3,000 in furniture at his store. The Astros lost in the World Series. He said he'll be doing so again on his bet on the Bengals, refunding anyone who spends $3,000 on furniture if Cincinnati wins the Super Bowl.

McIngvale bet $3.46 million on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3.5 on last year's Super Bowl as part of a promotional giveaway at his store. The Buccaneers delivered with a convincing upset of the Kansas City Chiefs, but McIngvale's been on a cold streak recently. He lost $4.7 million in a week betting on football in January, highlighted by a $2.7 million money-line bet on Alabama in the national championship game, which Georgia won. The following week, McIngvale saw $2 million in futures bets he placed on the Patriots to win the Super Bowl go up in flames with a 47-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the playoffs.

"I've always said that a setback is just a setup for a comeback," McIngvale said.

Bengals fans are hoping he's right.

its easy enough to interpret this as CJ telling us he won't be playing

but I really hope he does.  I would think any true Bengals fan would.

He is the heart and spirit of this team, and vastly underrated on the field to boot

I think he’s referring to the pre-game outfit.

While we're humble-whining about things that are amazing (as a joke I know):

I have always loathed Super Bowl commercials and the half time show. To me the commercials especially are tryhard comedy that is nearly never actually funny, and I am eager to spend those breaks taking a piss.

This year I have to watch everything to truly experience a Bengals Super Bowl. I don't wanna watch that shit. Boo hoo my butt hurts etc.

If I misread my calculations then the only other thing it could mean is that Mike Brown is the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks.
Take your pick...
