I love Geno, but they are/were only using him on a limited basis when he played at all this season, so while again I LOVE (and always will love, same as Dunlap) the guy I dont see his absence as having much of an impact

Agreed. He's the greatest defender in the history of the franchise for my money; he has given all we could ever ask of him. At his age he isn't likely to have much left anyway.

John Ross got hurt in practice - playing cornerback.  He probably should have been a corner all along.  But he’d have to tackle someone at some point, and that would result in certain injury.  So I guess he should stay at receiver.

He wasn’t playing corner, that got garbled in the reporting. He hurt his foot running a route. Tough break, hopefully it’s not anything major.

There was apparently a conversation about moving him to corner, which would be fucking stupid given his size imo but whatever.

They were asking Ross to play corner in practice due to the injury situation at the position.

It wasn’t a full time switch.  As noted he got hurt running routes before he got to the CB part of the programming.

On top of having no CB depth and Tony Brown starting opposite Jackson, and having no T depth at all and Adeniji having to start on the right, it’s also gonna be hella windy. So passing will be hard which, whelp, not great news either.
