Stripes
I'm a "why wait?" type guy, so here's your thread. I am feeling pretty confident about this one. Miami is anything but a chump team, but I think the better team is at home this time. A 4-1 record would mean a lot in an AFC which is starting to look tougher, particularly the North. The biggest concern would be the Bengals looking ahead to Pittsburgh, but I have to think they'll take a 3-1 opponent seriously.
Kazkal
Cant wait to have burfict back,Though we need to give the guy a leather helmet with how The refs are this year.
ShulaSteakhouse
What's Mixon's status? Looked fine running around on the sideline to me today. Dolphins were 3-0, but took it on the chin to NE today 38-7. Maybe Burfict makes a difference on that defense, they need something to change. volcom69
They said Mixon looked great warming up and could see him back this week. The defense needs a huge spark, with this offense a little defense could go along way. I like Burfict but I'm worried about how he tackles, and about if the league will be all over him calling stupid penalties.
AMPHAR
I was looking over fantasy scores this week and Tannehill had 1 point. So maybe we can hold them under 25 pionts.

skyline
My only concern is an emotional/mental thing coming off the Falcons win. It's not unusual to see teams come out flat after wins like that.
GapControl
I know this is dolphins talk, I just haven’t looked into them enough yet. I know they got waxed today. One thing , this next week I hope the flags get cut in half. The NFL has to think about the fact that we are trying to watch a sports match here. Flags nearly ruined the Steelers Ravens game and it was pretty exciting. Love them to go down to 3rd place
ArmyBengal
Both the Bengals and Miami defenses have sucked balls to this point in the season. The difference in this game for me is the Bengals offense is FAR superior to the Dolphins. I don't care about records here. If the Bengals don't come out flat, they win. If the defense can also figure out what playing defense means AND the whole team isn't flat ?? I'll call for a blowout at home. That's what I'm calling right now. Bengals 42 Dolphins
Stripes
I hope Cordy Glenn's iffy 4th quarter against Atlanta was a product of fatigue and not a sign of him slipping. The Bengals absolutely cannot afford to have him playing poorly.
skyline
He's struggled with speed rushers this year and I've also heard rumors that he's not 100% healthy. Combined with 4th quarter fatigue...

membengal
Sounds like the Dolphins took some potentially significant injury hits of their own on Sunday: https://www.profootballrumors.com/2018/10/dolphins-bobby-mccain-daniel-kilgore Sunday’s loss to the Patriots was rough, and this Monday isn’t looking any brighter for the Dolphins. The club has learned that cornerback Bobby McCain and center Daniel Kilgore both suffered injuries in Sunday’s 38-7 drumming, according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald (on Twitter). McCain is dealing with a knee injury while Kilgore has a torn triceps. There is no timetable for Kilgore, but a torn triceps is a serious injury with a high risk for a repeat tear if the player is not given enough time to heal properly. Logic dictates that Kilgore is a candidate to go on injured reserve with a chance to return later this year, but we’ll have to wait for more info on that front. McCain, meanwhile, is expected to miss two or three weeks. The slot specialist is an integral part of Miami’s defense – as evidenced by his four-year, $27MM extension – so the Dolphins are hoping to get him back on the field as soon as possible. At minimum, he’ll miss contests against the Bengals and Bears.
cincyhokie
The union wanted less contact and less practice time in the CBA. They got it. Along with under conditioned players getting injured at a high rate across the league.

ArmyBengal
The only thing I tend to remember about the Dolphins in recent years against the Bengals is Geno tearing his ACL. Please, for the love of God, let’s not repeat that one.
membengal
The injury/return from suspension news: 1. Burfict back, dressed out, and looking fit and moving well to start practice per the assembled observers who report and tweet. 2. Mixon dressed and practicing. Marvin said the outlook for Mixon was "sunny". 3. Ross dressed and practicing in the early part of the session that the scribes could see. 4. Gio not dressed and hanging near rehab field. He wasn't able to finish Sunday's game, unknown what is hurting him, scribes say waiting to see what injury report lists.

No setback. Said he said he spoke too soon when he said “two weeks” two weeks ago" And this from the dot com "The forecast on rookie center Billy Price was a bit cloudier. After his foot went under an exam Tuesday, they decided to keep the boot on him for two more weeks. That means he won’t be ready for the Oct. 14 Steelers game. But he said there hasn’t been a setback. ShulaSteakhouse
Dolphins are a bit of a mess at the moment for being a 3-1 team. Of course they're also missing their starting Center and had to sign some scrub. They just let one of their DT's go after a tantrum last Sunday, and were lifeless in the 38-7 beat down by NE. I don't see any reason to not win this game at home, especially with Burfict and Mixon most likely back.
