JungleFanatic
I honestly believe it would be more entertaining and far less painful to shave my eyeballs with a rusty butterknife than to watch what this team has put on the field this year. Last time Haley's came by it was a big dud, when it was awesome, that was what 1910? But I take your point, Professional Disgrace at this low level should be historic. In fact the Cincinnati Bengals are the standard for organizational incompetence.

TJJackson
Nothing will change until it starts costing Mike Brown money or he dies. The first sign of the former will be when the waiting list for season tickets evaporates. I will be waiting anxiously to hear about either of the two events.

COB
News flash! Boomer Esiason says the team quit on Lewis. Other talking heads agree!!Thanks for the insight. Marvin invited it. He went into "who gives a crap" mode about the time Mike forced Henry on him. His bizarre press conferences where he said he's happy where we're at, where he said acts like everything is ok, that was the tipoff. Then Mike Brown came out and said "Marvin can coach here as long as he wants." No statement about how the Bengals want him to stay, they support him, etc. I inferred from that statement that the Browns would welcome his resignation. They're too cheap to fire him, apparently. We're the Raiders.

Ox
I'm somewhat glad I wasn't here to post on this thread. From reading the last page, I can see where I'd rather just cheer for my fantasy teams and feel good about myself then watching our dysfunctional bunch of no talents. Good grief. Pidge
Just back from the game in Nodnol today. Had a few after game libations. Wore my #12 jersey, that my father-in-law thrust into my hands one birthday a couple of years ago, proudly. f**king Steeler fans everywhere. Maybe that was just my paranoia. Had a better time than my brethren on here and at the game Stateside today I see.Keep on keeping on folks.

Caerus
Steelers fans are the football equivalent of Cubs fans. My friend used to live in Milwaukee, and she'd tell me stories of Cubs fans there to root against the Brewers even when the Cubs weren't playing. They're just a bunch of d*cks. However, Steelers fans are actually WORSE than Cubs fans, because Cubs fans haven't won a series in a century. They have a reason to be desperate and gung-ho about getting somewhere. Steelers fans win the division almost every year. It's like they revel in their d*ckdom.
