  1. Maybe we could get those cardboard cutouts, like during COVID, of Moobs and Ogbuehi in their gutter cleaning uniforms from COB's house and have them sit in for the 2nd half of games.
  2. Even though my degrees include marketing pieces, I was never a fan of it. I hated those classes as a matter of fact. Funny !!
  3. The fact the Trubiskey era lasted this long is a small miracle. Dude was set up to be demoted.
  4. What about naming rights for the parking areas ?? Through the season the tailgaters would be sponsored by whomever got the naming rights to their lot and at the end of the year one of the sponsors would be named the “Tailgaters of the year”. That organization would be given let’s say 15-20 tickets to hand out to their employees for a game next season.
  5. Been a fan of Hurst before he was a Bengal. Love that he is here and want an extension for him as well.
  6. Keep selling boys !!
  7. Trade away this years picks for more 2024 picks and use that money as a part of what it’s going to take to resign Burrow and Chase. Sounds good until you realize that is only a little more than 5 million in that first year for your 1st, 2nd AND 3rd rounders.
  8. And just like that, we go from 0-2 to being tied for first place !!
  9. Never had so much fun watching the Browns, Steelers and Ravens play !!! FUCKING FUCK YEAH !!!
  10. Apparently he was too hostile during the investigative process. Probably because he knew he was going to the total blame for this and be hung out to dry. Never mind the Dolphins coaches, staffers and medical team, it’s all this guy. Thats not a pass for him, just saying…
  11. Agree with Mem about it being nice to relax and root against our rivals in the North. COB, I saw that about Dalton as well. To be honest, I didn’t even know he was on the Saints roster. I will be rooting for him nonetheless.
  12. I added to the title that it's the Sunday Night Game next week as well. Back to back primetime games !!! I will be paying attention to the Ravens and how they do with all the serious injuries they have already taken. Simply hoping for continued growth from the team and avoid injuries. Without saying it's a must win game, this division game is obviously going to be very important to the Bengals. I really hope the added time to prepare is spent wisely and the team comes to play !!
  13. Additionally for any Veteran here or those that may know Veterans, there is another favorite of mine that I use with a lot of frequency. https://www.vettix.org/ Once registered, you can set two default areas and a radius for those areas and then select the different types of events you are interested in. You can set alerts for any event and if they get tickets, they will send you a text or email to let you know. Sometimes the tickets are free and are always less than full price if you happen to have to pay. I have been going to Ohio State games and have gotten up to 4 tickets at a time and never paid more than $14 per ticket. We are going this weekend for free. Really good stuff !!
  14. Tell me how you feel when you turn 52 and while turning a screw driver, you simultaneously rupture your biceps tendon, tear your rotator cuff, and detach the ligaments holding the back of your shoulder together. 5 weeks out of surgery and when it rained the other day, I almost had to put myself in a Percocet induced coma to deal with the pain. I feel you Volcom !! I don't know how it will grade out, but Volson seemed to have a better game as well. Yes, continued improvement, much like everyone else, but there were times where you can see why he beat out Carman. On the Wilcox catch, you can see him run nearly 25 yards downfield, get in front of the play and continue blocking. Had Wilcox broke the tackle, that would have gone for more. When looking at the Mixon run, where he was basically pushed into the end zone, you can see Volson get moving and slam into the pile, which pretty much pushed it the rest of the way. I'm not calling the guy an all pro, but it's nice to see him continue grinding out there on a line that has struggled.
  15. There’s Mem. Figured work was keeping you busy. Yes, agree. I made the comment that with little playing time in the preseason, they are basically in week 1 form. I know that not exact but apparently not far off. They have more to do, but now they have a little extra time to prep for the Ravens. This week is going to be crucial for the team, but they appear up for it.
  16. Agree Hoosier !!
  17. I was in on and off the board tonight. Pissed at the play calling, but happy to see them continuing to build. They have got to come up with something more creative than what Mixon is offering. Not sure what his deal is not breaking a single tackle. Yes the defense was good tonight again. Made the comment earlier about being jacked up on my thoughts of the defense. Happy to Bell get 2 picks. This reminds me of the Jags game on Thursday night last year and then really using that game as a spring board. While Joe looked sleepy at times, he got fired up at the end and I was happy to see that. Get rest !!!
  18. WTF ?? While thinking Evans should get more opportunities, I didn’t mean that first chance coming in a 3rd down passing play.
  19. I really hadn’t given much thought to Zac’s play calling outside of the conversation here. That being said, it really has been beyond abysmal. Just stupid plays that don’t take advantage of the talent on this offense. Oh and Burrow looks disinterested.
  20. These past couple series have been nothing but lackluster. Whatever they did on that first drive needs to be repeated. Stop trying to outwit them and play ball.
  21. Ok I had to come log in. Zac… that’s the best fucking play you could draw up on a 4th down play ??
  22. They had Veteran volunteers placing the white Pom Poms on each seat today. Afterward they got a light dinner and a free ticket to the game for volunteering. For those that may be Veterans or know someone who is, this is a local group that gets tickets for Veterans to the Bengals, Reds, FC Cincinnati and other events in the city for free. https://www.afta-cincinnati.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.home
  23. Gramma is a Zombie. How appropriate... That crushes, early 90 thrash metal style. Not something I will add to the playlist however. For an amazing early 90's thrash band not well known: I recommend Forced Entry, "Never a Know, but the No".
  24. It sucks losing Reader for a while, but I think they have done a good job avoiding injuries to this point. Some of the other teams in the division have taken some big hits. If they can stay healthy, that will be huge for them as the season moves forward. For tonight's game, I want to see the o-line take the next step and get this running game going. Of course there are other things, but they need to establish that and control this game.
  25. This is the only note I saw and a comment about Zach Carter as well:
