The defensive standard has been so terrible that I actually found that opening drive encouraging. And they allowed a TD.

While the Bengals can hardly afford to lose any interior defensive linemen... Zach Carter was quite possibly a bottom ten NFL player. He just added absolutely nothing at any point.

I've been bothered all along that a third round rookie is being treated as the savior at DT when we've never even seen him play professional football. Hopefully he isn't another Shelvin.

They pretty much benched CTB against Carolina, so I have to believe they'll be willing to go to Battle too if Stone/Bell are continuously falling short. Something has to change.
