Whoever fumbles the least is my choice.

Brown has guard experience too. He's one of our most valuable OL assets even if Mims starts.
-
I thought I smelled some rank BO in here.

I hadn't cooked up an all-time 53-man roster since about 2019, so I tried again. So many recent players warrant mention, so it's an overhaul. Obviously this is pointless, but we're all nerdy enough to post on an internet message board forum, so take it anyway. I'd imagine head coach could invite some controversy (and I think it's very close with Wyche). Underlines denote starters. I decided to include a classical number of players per position group (e.g., overrepresented linebackers), but apply a modern-era arrangement of starters to get a taste of both worlds. QB (3) - Ken Anderson, Joe Burrow, Boomer Esiason RB (4) - Corey Dillon, James Brooks, Joe Mixon, Rudi Johnson FB (1) - Pete Johnson WR (6) - Chad Johnson, Isaac Curtis, Ja'Marr Chase, AJ Green, Carl Pickens, TJ Houshmandzadeh TE (3) - Bob Trumpy, Dan Ross, Rodney Holman OL (8) - Anthony Muñoz, Willie Anderson, Andrew Whitworth, Max Montoya, Bob Johnson, Richie Braham, Bruce Kozerski, Dave Lapham DE (5) - Carlos Dunlap, Trey Hendrickson, Justin Smith, Eddie Edwards, Michael Johnson DT (4) - Geno Atkins, Tim Krumrie, Domata Peko, Dan Wilkinson LB (6) - Reggie Williams, Vontaze Burfict, Logan Wilson, James Francis, Brian Simmons, Germaine Pratt S (4) - David Fulcher, Jessie Bates, Tommy Casanova, Reggie Nelson CB (6) - Lemar Parrish, Ken Riley, Leon Hall, Adam Jones, Deltha O'Neal, Mike Hilton (nickel)* P (1) - Kevin Huber K (1) - Evan McPherson LS (1) - Clark Harris HC - Zac Taylor OC - Bill Walsh DC - Mike Zimmer

Looks pretty sexy. Ted Karras gives a personal tour of the amenities:
-
We’re still waiting on Lamb, and he came a year before Chase.
-
He hasn’t done anything “GM” in quite a long time.
-
I hereby pledge, as of this day, the 26th of July 2024: If the Cincinnati Bengals win Super Bowl LIX, I will get the ridiculous Joe Burrow Slim Shiesty haircut.
-
Seeing Moss walking next to Mims and Brown was hilarious. Tiny baby.
-
I would attribute slow starts primarily to: - Burrow camp injuries/ailments (biggest factor by a mile) - Slow-adapting in-game coaching - Fluke longsnapper injury - Bad divisional matchups against elite pass rushers that expose the OL deficiencies, regardless of preseason - The camp and preseason stuff could be factors too. Who knows. It’s the only thing they can control right now.
-
I have never been convinced that the lack of preseason playtime caused the slow starts in the first place, but I wouldn't blame them for changing something up. Carefully.
-
Joe playing in the preseason is terrifying, but I suppose him playing in any game is terrifying at the moment. Keep my golden god in one piece, please.

I already filled my mop bucket with hot cocoa.

I wonder what Marvin's camp t-shirt slogan would be this season if he was still around. "Play Football Today" "Do My Job" "Donuts Are For Winners" "We Are Doing Bengals Again" *Text-free photograph of Marvin clapping*

Might be a long-shot, but it worked for me once: At the log-in screen, don't use your actual email address. Bengalszone automatically generates an "email" based upon your username. My old username from when I was a ridiculous overposting teenager was "TDB", and I was able to log in with "tdb@bengalszone.net" in the email field. Maybe "armybengal@bengalszone.net" will work for you. The password might still be an adventure. May not work, I dunno. It's a strange system.
-
Now that I am aware of this situation, I am PISSED. RAGE.
-
*searches "Bengals" on YouTube for the 307th time this month, finds nothing but the same old bullshit, groans, and continues drifting through space until football arrives*

Welcome back UKB.
-
Cool now go win the Super Bowl before you lose him.
-
It’s a one year extension. Dunno the money.
-
LOVE IT.
-
Lemar Parrish is the easiest name of the year for me. I think he's the greatest defensive back in team history. Otherwise I am pretty wide open to anyone including Corey Dillon.

I listen because it’s there, but they kind of drive me nuts. Rapien is just kind of a dork. Liscow is an asshole. And Liscow drives me nuts during interviews, because he is incapable of asking a concise question. Every question turns into a vocal paragraph so long that by the time he reaches the question mark the guest doesn’t remember what he’s supposed to be answering. There’s also The Growler (formerly Hear That Podcast Growlin). It’s okay.
