I legitimately want to win. I don't care about the draft pick. Sustain the team's winning culture even without its most important player. That's a valuable thing to do.
Remember that bit I said whenever about "if Browning sucks I don't want to see him as the backup next season"?
Well, there's another side to that. Whew.
He was barely okay last week. I will expect to lose every game though. The Bengals might take one somewhere, but I'm not holding my breath. Your Jaguars should be in good shape.
I am in full snore mode. I watched the game with zero emotion Sunday. I can't believe this wasn't flexed out of MNF.
Hopefully the rookies continue to grow. For the second wave Burrow Bengals starting in 2024 to maintain the standard of the first, they absolutely have to work out. Murphy and Turner especially can't miss a beat.
Sure, by all means, suck every ounce of ass there is left to suck!
I just mean that if he does suck, I don't want to see him backing up Joe Burrow next season. That'd be old-style Bengals complacency.
This ought to be a good demonstration to the Bengals of the effectiveness of their backup QB strategy. If Browning stinks it up out there, they had better not go into 2024 saying "stay the course" on that front.
