HoosierCat Posted October 22 Author Report Posted October 22 Duggar (quad) was the only guy on the injury report yesterday. 1 Quote

HoosierCat Posted October 22 Author Report Posted October 22 Lamar actually on the field today, so we’ll see. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 22 Report Posted October 22 Again, I would be shocked if he misses this game. I don't care if his first practice is two hours before the start of the game. Dude's playing. The Ravens have no reason to let the Bengals know he's playing until they have to. Quote
HoosierCat Posted October 22 Author Report Posted October 22 Ok it’s a couple weeks early but…ACHTUNG! I hate to direct anyone to Xitter these days but the comments are absolutely fantastic on this one. Cant wait for Madrid. Quote
HoosierCat Posted October 23 Author Report Posted October 23 Interesting point from Charlie today. Quote His health comes at a great time leading up to this week’s game against the Ravens. It should be his first time since the 2021 season where he plays a complete game (or more than 10 snaps) at Baltimore. While Higgins hasn’t missed a ton of games in his career, a disproportionate amount have come against the Ravens. Higgins has missed four of the Bengals’ last five games against Baltimore (at the Ravens in 2023, at the Ravens in 2024, at the Ravens in 2025 and vs. the Ravens in 2025). At the Ravens in 2022, Higgins played 10 snaps before exiting the game with an ankle injury. Think of how many times over the years it’s felt like the season has swung with games in Baltimore. In 2023, the Bengals featured Shed Jackson on a go route down the sideline in a road game at Baltimore. In 2024, Jermaine Burton got the most extended opportunity of his Bengals career at Baltimore. The 2025 games against the Ravens gave Mitchell Tinsley and Andrei Iosivas extended opportunities that didn’t work out well for the Bengals. Since the start of the 2021 season, Higgins has watched four losses to the Ravens from the sideline. More here: https://substack.com/home/post/p-221706891 Quote
COB Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 What a strange coincidence that Tee consistently misses Baltimore games. Gave us a Jermaine Burton legacy game* last year! * no catches, no stats whatsoever Quote
COB Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 I don’t know if any of you guys watched that Bears vs Patriots game last night, but I did and it was one of the most entertaining (non Bengal) nfl games I’ve watched in a long time. The offenses were converting 3rd and long, the defenses were blitzing like crazy, hard hitting, just a really fun game to watch. 1 1 Quote

I went and checked and since 2021 Tee has missed or barely played in 15 games (not counting the Browns game at the end of 2021 when they were resting guys ahead of the playoffs). Of those 15, 8 were division games, and of those 8, 5 were against Baltimore. Quote

HoosierCat Posted October 23 Author Report Posted October 23 Lamar officially listed as ?able after being limited in practice all week. He talked to the ravens site after practice, said he’s dealing with a high ankle sprain and there’s a pain tolerance issue. Said he would play if he felt like he could move and run normally otherwise he didn’t want to go out hobbled and hurt the team. So who knows. Quote

I wonder what Myles Garrett, sitting in last place with the Rams, is thinking about the 1st place Browns? I know it's still early(ish) and things can change but no one saw the Browns at 4-2 atop the North through 6 weeks. Not without Garrett, not with Watson starting at QB, not with the Browns being the Browns. NO ONE. Isn't Aaron Donald also back??? Quote

Two of those seven losses were in 2024 when the Bengals scored 38 and 34 points respectively, with the 'anemic' defense. That's the year they set an NFL record of scoring 30+ points in 5 games, and losing them. No other NFL team has accomplished that feat in a single season!! Quote
gregcook69 Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 The Bengals held Derrick Henry to 58 yards. How many yards do you think the Bengals hold him to?? Quote

I’m listing the ravens use of the injury report as questionable. This “maybe he’ll play maybe he won’t” has been a trademark of theirs for a long time. I heard the Steelers listed Aaron Rodgers as supercilious. Which is an improvement, last week he was listed as haughty. Quote
Stripes Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 Lamar is officially out. Better fucken win. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 Wow wasn’t expecting that. Clearly he’s more hurt than expected. Bengals better win. Quote
COB Posted October 24 Report Posted October 24 Thankfully Snoop Huntley is a known quantity. We’ve historically struggled against QBs making their first start. Another point - I don’t think the Ravens scheme is all that different with one qb or the other, so I don’t believe we were taxed with preparing for two different offenses. Obviously Lamar is the better qb and you have to try to contain him. Quote
HoosierCat Posted October 25 Author Report Posted October 25 Bengals vs a rookie or journeyman QB? I’ve seen this movie so many times. “Snoop” is gonna look like fukking Montana. Quote
COB Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 I’ll tune in to Paris in a few minutes, I’m sure I’ll see a huge trash pile burning in the streets with hooligans randomly throwing shit on it. Wait that’s the Steelers defense. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Odd that you said “Throwing shit” and it made me think of Pittsburgh. Quote

Stripes Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 They've retained much of the dark voodoo that sustained them under Tomlin, unfortunately. Quote
volcom69 Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Shamar Stewert inactive lol what a joke. First round pick can’t even get in the field! Quote
