And so the first must-win of the season has arrived. Browns are playing the Tits and Pittsburgh gets Nawlins, so it’s very possible that a loss put us 2 games behind everyone else in the division, and 0-2 in the AFCN to boot.

I expect Baltimore to do everything they can to get Jackson back for this one.

If you go by history, the Bengals are going to lose this game.
They suck coming out of the bye week and suck more when facing a divisional opponent coming out of the bye week.

Burrow is 4-7 against the Ravens.  5-7 if you include the post season.
When Lamar has been out for those games, Burrow and the Bengals are 2-0.  3-0 if you include the post season.

I agree the Ravens will want VERY much to get Jackson back for this game.
I think the Bengals lose and we see yet again another failure on the part of Zac to prepare his team.
With a loss, as Hoosier mentioned, they will be playing catch up something fierce.

I'm going to do like the front office does and hope and pray this works out.

I was thinking about the Browns beating the Ravens and a thought jumped in my head...

I wonder what Myles Garrett, sitting in last place with the Rams, is thinking about the 1st place Browns?
I know it's still early(ish) and things can change but no one saw the Browns at 4-2 atop the North through 6 weeks.
Not without Garrett, not with Watson starting at QB, not with the Browns being the Browns.  NO ONE.

Nope, didn’t see any of that coming but then again, I didn’t see Philly offering Andy Dalton a contract and getting stiffed in favor of Atlanta, either.

Great move by Andy.
He threw one pass for Philly and it was an egregious pick.  They cut him (mild humiliation), then they self-immolate.  They come crawling back, “please, Andy, please!” And being the absolute boss that he is, Andy’s like, “Nope, I’ll throw prime-time interceptions for someone who appreciates me!”  Also, with Atlanta, Andy and his wife get a nice trip to Madrid in November so that may have played into it.

That is the epitome of desperation right there.

Yea that guy in Indy should have been gone after he brought Matt Ryan in for that horrible season.  Or maybe when he couldn’t figure out how to build any sort of line to protect Andrew Luck.  Dude struggled in that GM role.

Bunch of roster moves…

*Signed S Russ Yeast off the practice squad to the active roster. Yeast, a third-year player, was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for two games this season and has recorded three tackles.

*Released S Isaiah Nwokobia from the practice squad. Nwokobia, a rookie out of Southern Methodist University, signed on Sept. 29 to Cincinnati's practice squad, where he spent the past two games.

*Signed TE Josh Kattus to the practice squad. Kattus (6-4, 247), a rookie out of the University of Kentucky, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in May and spent this past offseason and training camp with Cincinnati. He was waived by the Bengals on Aug. 30 and was not with a team for the first six weeks of the regular season.

*Signed LB Emany Johnson to the practice squad. Johnson (6-2, 216), a first-year player out of the University of Nevada, originally was a college free agent signee of Dallas in 2024. He spent his rookie season on the practice squads of the Cowboys and L.A. Chargers, then spent the entire '25 campaign on the Chargers' practice squad. He was not with a team for the first six weeks of this season.

BOOOOOOOO !!!

And happy Halloween to you too! I’m really jazzed about this one. I understand COB has gone with a “haunted Arby’s” theme this year and is handing out potato cakes.

Plan

1.  Get 3 dozen or more costumes

2.  Drive to COBs neighborhood on halloween

3. In first costume, get potato cakes

4.  Return to car and change costumes

5. Go back to COBs house and snag another potato cakes

6. Rinse and repeat til car is filled with potato cakes

Glad someone took the bait on that one and the double meaning.
Can always count on Hoosier.

Potato Cakes for Halloween at COB's house?  Hold up TJ, let me get my costumes together I'm coming with.

I’m dressing up for Halloween as a surly teenager who works the Arby’s drive thru. When you guys come to my door prepare to be insulted and scoffed at when you demonstrate the slightest unfamiliarity with Arby’s ever-changing menu.

Lamar not at ravens practice today

Best news I’ve heard all week.  I’d love it if we get Huntley instead of Lamar.

Apparently Lamar did finally show up and was officially listed as limited. Reporters there say he did not work during the part of practice they were allowed to watch and that he was still in street clothes at the end of practice.

Thats fine, just dont lower the fabled 97 jersey to the level of a halloween costume

The 97 jersey is still in the dark closet trying to recover from "SOMEONE" messing with the winning streak.
It isn't showing signs of improvement to this point.  It's really a sad situation.
