Well to be fair the pass block in the second half was amazing, and Joe was seeing the field the best he had all year. During that time is when they really got the run going. Maybe get the passing going and the runs will come from that. Not sure, but they fixed the run game last season, hopefully it happens again. Quote
COB Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Just went into the score app to look at Baltimore’s defensive stats. They’ve got some good players, Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, Kyle Hamilton, etc., everyone had their tackles, etc. One odd thing - I couldn’t even find Trey Hendrickson listed at all. Which means: tackles - 0 tackles for loss - 0 fumbles caused or recovered - 0 interceptions - 0 OBJ I take back all the stuff I said about you. You are a stand up guy, a real asset. The Ravens have to be regretting that contract. 1 Quote
COB Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 I can’t stop. I imagine the Ravens thought they were getting 1. an elite pass rusher, and 2. Veteran leadership, when they signed Trey Hendrickson. I think his injury is diminishing his pass rushing right now, he’ll be more effective as he heals. But his leadership qualities were on full display in the second half today. 1 Quote
HoosierCat Posted October 26 Author Report Posted October 26 I have not watched the Ravens defense this year at all so I can’t say for sure, but back when Trey was in NO, he played LB for his first three years and, at least as far as pressuring the QB went, he was pretty pedestrian. Then in his last year in NO they moved him to DE and he got 14.5 sacks and a big new contract from Cincy in FA. He then proceeded to play DE for us snd consistently rack up double-digit sacks. So, naturally, after they signed him the Ravens made him a LB again. Again, haven’t watched, don’t know what he’s being asked to do, maybe it was a position change in name only, but the fact he’s listed at OLB and not RDE makes me wonder if Balti’s DC is being a bit too clever for his own good. Quote
COB Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 I’m going to watch today’s game again so I’ll check out where Trey lined up. I only noticed him lined up as a DE, but maybe they had him at LB and I just didn’t notice. Chase Brown looked a lot better today. I don’t know what was wrong with him a couple weeks ago, but his burst was back today, thankfully. 1 Quote

HoosierCat Posted October 26 Author Report Posted October 26 I know what the story says, but in my head cannon Ja’marr went to his locker at halftime, pulled out a bullhorn and a comically large old timey alarm clock, set it ringing and walked around shouting WAKE UP ASSHOLES BYE WEEK IS OVER!!!!! WAKE UP YOU’RE GETTING YOUR ASSES KICKED!!!! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 Just keep whatever this motivation is about going and take it out on the Titans next week. Quote
Stripes Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 The 2021 team obliterated Baltimore just before eating shit against the inferior Browns and Jets. It ended well, obviously, but let’s demonstrate some growth this time. 1 Quote

COB Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 I celebrated the win yesterday by driving to Arby’s and trying something new. Got the number 5 combo (Spicy Angus cheesesteak), $12.99, got Sprite as the drink. You guys can pass on the spicy angus cheesesteak, it was ok but that’s all it was. The “spicy” was some sort of nondescript heat, no idea what it was because there was no real taste to it. I was so excited to try something new I blatantly choked while ordering and forgot to sub potato cakes in for the curly fries. 1 Quote
Stripes Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 I always enjoy watching the tears flow. I know the thumbnail looks like clickbait bullshit, but the compilation is reasonably legitimate. 2 Quote
Allentown21 Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 Burrow firmly put himself in the MVP conversation. When they're clicking like that, Cincinnati is almost unbeatable. Spectacular 2nd half, although I knew the Bengals would comeback Quote

ArmyBengal Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 Saw a clip where Ja'Marr was asked what the issues were in the first half and his response was.... "I don't call the plays". He turned it into somewhat of a joke, but I really think he did that knowing he didn't want to go there. Seems to echo what we have all been commenting on through the season to this point. Eat a dick Zac. Quote

Burrow gave it to them long and hard in the second half. 1 Quote

TJJackson Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 I havent seen a game for over a year now, as i dont have cable or any paid services, and i am not much for bars So.....sunday ticket.....if i buy that, does it guarantee viewing access to all Bengals games? Quote
Prophecy Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 3 hours ago, glasgowbengal said: We heard anything around All’s knee yet? Well, the fact that they signed Cam Grandy from the Vikings practice squad leads to believe, it's not a day to day thing. Plus, they Bengals need to maintain their NFL lead in "Most players named Cam" Quote
COB Posted October 26 Report Posted October 26 All I heard on the knee without a brace after the game and he seemed optimistic. I think his on-field reaction was pretty bad because this is the same knee he’s had all the trouble and surgery with. TJ, Sunday ticket is not your answer. If you get an antennae you’ll be able to see the cbs and fox games on Sunday afternoon and immediately drive to your nearest Arby’s after every victory. You’ll also be able to see the Sunday night games on nbc. In other words living in Cincy you’ll get most of the games that way for the cost of an antennae, no monthly subscription. Sunday ticket will specifically exclude all the bengal games that are broadcast locally. Quote
