COB Posted Friday at 01:00 PM Report Posted Friday at 01:00 PM The Steelers refused to do a rebuild as Tomlin kept extending his no losing seasons streak. He retires, and, inexplicably, they double down on trying to keep their old jalopy of a football team rolling. It’s beautiful. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Friday at 01:43 PM Author Report Posted Friday at 01:43 PM Seeing them lose to the Browns makes last weeks loss a little less painful. Now we may in fact lose to the Browns at some point, but I'll cross that bridge when/if we get to it. For now, don't rain on my parade. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Friday at 01:50 PM Report Posted Friday at 01:50 PM Happy for you Army. Seeing the Clowns beat Pitt only pisses me off more. Just underlines how little excuse there was for the loss. Quote
volcom69 Posted Friday at 03:22 PM Report Posted Friday at 03:22 PM Yea I loved seeing the Steelers lose, but that just proved to me how terrible this coaching staff really is, to get out coached and not make any in game adjustments. It showed maybe how these guys are not ready for the big games yet, if they can’t even do the little things right. You would think with all these new veterans they brought in and the older guys here they would have been ok, but they were not. Hopefully a lesson was taught last week especially towards the coaching staff! Quote

Check back tomorrow and you may find me in a varied mood. The other thing to at least consider is that maybe the Browns have been playing solid ball. They beat Tampa Bay, Carolina and now Pittsburgh. Not murderer's row, but they are in fact 3-1. Their schedule has a few rough spots, but manageable if they continue to play good ball. Watson must have found the fountain of youth or his ego simply couldn't take anymore. Either way, he's playing really well right now. I'm also still pissed they got Schwesinger in the draft. He was my #1 LB that year and he's a beast. Anyway, fuck Cleveland. 1 Quote

HoosierCat Posted Sunday at 03:40 PM Report Posted Sunday at 03:40 PM Cook and Duggar both inactive. Appears our safeties are Battle, Jules and Russ Yeast. Hill still out too. Quote

volcom69 Posted Sunday at 04:17 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:17 PM Oh and no stupid mistakes or turnovers Offense better score on every down because they need to score over 30 points to win this today. Defense needs to find a way to get turnovers and force 3 and outs, a few sacks and pressure all day would be nice. Quote
Stripes Posted Sunday at 04:55 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:55 PM Tough game, but the Jaguars aren’t some indomitable juggernaut. Get a home win. Quote
