gregcook69 Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Stroud looks really bad. Dropping snaps, pick, fumble! He had another TD if the receiver could have caught it. Chase and Higgins make those catches all the time! Quote
HoosierCat Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 Stroud is Pitt’s best player tonight. Quote
gregcook69 Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 I just have a hatred for the Steelers and I think Rodgers gets the ‘Smug Bastard of the Year Award’. It’s NEVER his fault! Quote
HoosierCat Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 Sheldon Rankins fumble 6. Of course. Quote
volcom69 Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Man watching this Texans defense is fun, they have been fun all year. Take notes Duke you want a pass rush, better go and find some and pay for some! Quote

COB Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Stroud looked panicky in the first half trying to deal with the pressure. But he made some throws when he had to. Quote
HoosierCat Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 That’s how you run the rock at the end of the game. Quote
COB Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Announcers bashing the Steelers. Terrible to hear. Quote

HoosierCat Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 And it’s a blowout. congrats to Mike Tomlin, who now ties Marvin Lewis atop the list of most consecutive playoff losses with 7. 1 Quote
Stripes Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Baltimore choked last week, and Pittsburgh ate shit this week. I am pleased. 2 Quote
COB Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 They yanked Rogers so now his final nfl pass will be a pick 6 in a playoff game. I’d put him back in and let him throw a screen pass. Quote
glasgowbengal Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Man, Rankins is a strange one. Does anyone actually know what the issue was when he was here? If he was genuinely ill, why did we cut him? He’s been lights out for Houston this year Quote

Hard to verify but the rumor was he lost 50 lbs while battling those illnesses. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 It was awesome watching the Texans defense handle the Steelers last night and thank God they did. The offense was really struggling and CJ was totally off his game. Him and his center need to get that together. I love having a high powered offense, but you can see how a high powered defense changes things greatly. It's nice to see Rankins get healthy again and glad he's contributing, but our pickup of Slaton gave us similar (most better) stat results than Rankins. Hell, even Jenkins had a similar season stat wise to Rankins. Again, glad he's doing well, but we didn't lose much in comparison. I think next weeks game between the Texans and Patriots should be a fun one to watch. It's easy to forget how much fun it is to have a team in the playoffs. Hope the Bengals can right the ship and make it back. 1 Quote

Yah to be clear I don't have any ill will toward Rankins, he had a legit horrible time here that had nothing to do with the team and I'm happy to see him fully recovered and back in the game. But....when you look at: Rankins signs in Cincy = gets life-threatening illness Rankins signs in Houston = gets playoff fumble 6 It's hard not to conclude that the Bengals are, indeed, cursed. Quote
TJJackson Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Army - please thank the Texans for me for humiliating and embarrassing the Rapistbergers Texans are now my team to root for in the playoffs Quote
Stripes Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Tomlin is stepping down. The entire division minus us are getting new coaches. Quote
COB Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Zac Taylor falls on his face, still gets every other coach in the division fired. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 I will send my best TJ !! That defense is scary good and fun to watch as a fan. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Hey Tomlin, pick which one you like best... "You're stepping down" OR "You're fired" Either way, get your shit and we will have security escort you out. Quote
