Blah, blah, blah, whatever Taylor, let's get to the important news of the day: Arby's introduces new steak nuggets.

Quote

“Who doesn’t love tender and savory steak?" Arby's chief marketing officer Jeff Baker said in a statement. "But, until now, it’s been inconvenient to eat, particularly on the go. That’s why we created this new innovative product."

"Two of America’s favorite foods – nuggets and steak – combined to create Arby’s Steak Nuggets. No knife needed, fork optional," Baker added.

That's the kind of leadership and innovation we need in Cincy. Jeff Baker for HC!

If you saw steak nuggets’ numbers from the combine, you’d agree with me - first round pick for sure, with possibility of going in the top 5.  Long term starter potential who has a true killer instinct (coronary disease).

Two huge issues that need to be addressed prior to submitting any "fixes".

1. Jake Browning sat on this roster for 3 Preseasons.  Never looked good.  Looked competent in SOME starts during that 7 game stretch.   I think he caught some defenses playing bad during that stretch and looked incompetent in 2 games vs. Steelers.

2. We saw Washington come out of no where last year.   Seeing Patriots pulling an upset last night.  Talent gaps are not deep in the NFL.

No competition for a #2 QB.  Overall I don't think this group of players/coaches have really held a competitive off season program or camp.   Sure they look great going against themselves, but its clear they aren't competing and other teams have passed.

Then 3rd issue:

Once you accept point 1.  Jake Browning should have never been unquestioned number 2.   He's not a QB you park in shotgun and try to throw the ball around all the time.   Although even IF you put the governor on him it probably doesn't change the outcome, maybe the margin looks better.

For the first time in a while, I didn't catch a single snap from yesterday's game.

I have no idea how they actually looked.  I fully expected them to lose this game though.
Maybe Jake not throwing 3 INT's keeps them in the game.  Maybe not.
The Lions were a better team even if Burrow was playing in my opinion.

I expect the losing to continue and I say that very unemotionally.
I can't even begin to think of how upcoming Bengals games spark any interest for me and that's sad.
There is nothing interesting about them and Zac is a fool.  Lets see how "unwavering" his support for Jake is now.

Thank God I love college football.  Even if my team loses, I still enjoy watching.
It use to be that way with the NFL for me, but sadly that is not the case much any more.

Joe with a long film breakdown of Rivers. tl;dw he thinks he played well overall, bengals should keep him out there and see if he can lock down a starting job. Good news with Fairchild hurt.
