I once again missed the game

I could ask many questions, but Ill just go with my top 2

Who started at the interior oline spots? (guessing Reiff and Williams at OT) (please please please dont say Jordan)

How well or poorly did the starting OL do?

The vets Spain and XSF with Trey at C.

It was only three plays so...not much could be judged. First team O was only out there for three plays.

Let’s just injure all of our pass rushers then.

Seems like it’s the position group tagged to get decimated this year. Still have my fingers crossed this report is wrong or overstated but we will see.

True.

Chase should have played a lot more, especially today.  Dude needs badly to knock the rust off and get some confidence going.  They’re treating him like some veteran star who can just flip the switch.  He missed all last year and needed playing time.

Not worried about Chase. He’ll round into form eventually. I do wish he’d had more time in preseason but again, this is what happens when you lose a practice game.

I'm concerned about the routes they chosen in his very limited playing time.  Safe underneath stuff and he hasn't been able to execute.  Just seems like kid glove treatment.   I hope this just growing pains.

AJ Green got locked down by Haden his first real game and it wasn't until they did a quick snap he got his first catch and TD catching the D off guard.

Chase was such a debated pick,  I would really love to avoid a slow start with him so the second guessing is held to a minimum.

The field goal at the end of the half.   They recorded it as a 57 yard attempt.   My guess that thing would have been good at 65 yards.

He's going to be a weapon to rival Tucker.

The hilarious thing is Sewell is struggling just as much.

The move, in hindsight, if you are into knee-jerk reactions, would have been to trade back to around 10, draft Slater, and then use your extra pick to get Terrace Marshall or Elijah Moore.
