ArmyBengal Posted March 16, 2020 Report Posted March 16, 2020 In all fairness to Hunt, I think playing in a 4-3 scheme just wasn't his thing. Indy's 3-4 seemed to suit him better. Quote
TJJackson Posted March 16, 2020 Report Posted March 16, 2020 pray tell me why does a pro bowl player get traded away for a mere 5th round pick? Maybe a better question is why we cant ever seem to get a pro bowl player for a song like that? Maybe a better question still is why am I asking this question that I already know several correct (yet sad) answers to it? Quote
HoosierCat Posted March 16, 2020 Author Report Posted March 16, 2020 Houston already going full on Lose For Lawrence. Quote
HoosierCat Posted March 16, 2020 Author Report Posted March 16, 2020 AZ should be charged with grand theft. Quote

Mike, or someone in power, had a real weakness when it came to combine performance/measurables. Jerome Simpson! He had the biggest hands in the draft! That center who’s name I’ve blocked out, could bench approximately one million pounds. We’ve certainly taken our share of combine athletes. Mike had nothing to do with it. That was Zimmer. Hunt was a freakish athlete that couldn't get it to translate into stats on the field. Hunt destroyed blocking schemes and tackles. Just couldn't get the QB to the ground often enough. IMO, just couldn't corner well enough. Zimmer infamously compared him to JJ Watt on one of the Hard Knocks. Him being drafted in the 2nd round and that comparison did him no favors with Bengal fans. He's had a 7 year career. (Maybe more) There's plenty of 2nd rounders that don't get that. 1 Quote

ArmyBengal Posted March 16, 2020 Report Posted March 16, 2020 HOLY SHIT THAT'S A STEAL OF A TRADE !!! Good for the Cardinals. Boy my son is going to be PISSED !!! 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted March 16, 2020 Report Posted March 16, 2020 Well Jack Conklin goes to the Browns. There goes my plan for freeing up the draft while getting at least one impact player at a HUGE position of need. Hey front office.... WAKE UP !!! Quote
HoosierCat Posted March 16, 2020 Author Report Posted March 16, 2020 substantially correct imo. 1 Quote

COB Posted March 17, 2020 Report Posted March 17, 2020 All these teams actively signing free agents, making trades, doing all those things required to improve and balance a roster. Just seems like a lot of work though, doesn’t it? Mike needs a nap. Quote

ShulaSteakhouse Posted March 17, 2020 Report Posted March 17, 2020 Weird move, at least for the moment. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted March 17, 2020 Report Posted March 17, 2020 It’s going to take more than Burrow #1 and a bunch of rookies to make me change my mind of this team. Burrow is a step in the right direction but sitting Idly by as other teams are being aggressive in trying to improve their roster is yet again very irritating. Mind you none of this is surprising... 1 Quote

volcom69 Posted March 17, 2020 Report Posted March 17, 2020 So I’m guessing the bengals are happy with there o-line and plan to do nothing with it if I’m reading correctly. So the first tier guys are soon in the bag, soon time for the bengals to swoop in and get there guys!!! 1 Quote
