HoosierCat
Well, we're almost there, people. Vets report tomorrow, and the first practice is Friday. So that means we are just 48 hours away from starting the annual "which key player suffers a season ending camp injury" watch. The smart money is probably on Moobs... ArmyBengal
I'm going to go with our "key" defensive free agent and say Minter. That would be painful...
HoosierCat
First injury report of the season from dehner: #Bengals place HB Jarveon Williams on the Active/PUP list and DB Brandon Wilson on Active/NFI. Basically, neither will be practicing Friday. Good news, as he pointed out in a subsequent tweet, is that John Ross hasn't appeared on either list.

essexjohnson
Hey Guys it's been awhile hope your doing well I'm not up on all the pup rules but wouldn't it be the safe/smart thing to start Ross and Gio on the pup i don't see either one of them practicing full go for a few weeks
HoosierCat
Howdy Essex! Yeah I kind of expected PUP for them but I guess they think they can go. We'll see tomorrow when they roll out for the first practice.

HoosierCat
Owczarski: Reminder for #Bengals fans: Bernard/Efiert/Ross won’t be participating “fully” here at the outset. No PUP/NFI designations thus far are key. So basically they're not officially injured, just unofficially injured. Or something.
Stripes
With all the talk of Burfict looking sleek and in-shape, and ready to start week one for the first time in a while... all of my training camp injury pool cash is going on that square. HoosierCat
Danneman: Giovani Bernard looks every bit of his normal self in first 11-on-11 drill. Cut, acceleration, burst all looks full go. #Bengals well, that's good.

HoosierCat
Quote Maybe because the enormously talented Eifert has missed 27 of his 64 NFL is he tired of hearing about what-ifs with this offense. “I’m sick of hearing about potential,” Eifert said. “We talk about the weapons. We just have to put it all together, you know?” Oh, we know, Tyler. Starter George Iloka (knee) and backup Derron Smith (ankle) got carted off together for MRIs. It’s believed that Iloka hyperextended it while covering a quick pass over the middle to wide receiver Alex Erickson on the second snap of 11-on-11s. It’s unknown how bad Smith’s ankle is after he went down in a 7-on-7 session.
