It's just the same old typical Marvin-led penalty fest on defense, combine that with some problem spots and they aren't very good right now.

You have to wonder if Dennard and Williams are going to remain liabilities all season long, and Jones doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Finally get Burfict back, maybe Eifert, will see if they take advantage of a softer schedule coming up.

All is not lost but unless Eifert and Taz can bring some fire, I'm not sure how easily they get themselves on track. Miami is an average squad, the kind we struggle with typically.

CBS just switched to the Chargers @ Colts game because the Eagles were embarrassing the Squealers.

Eagles really laid it on the Steelers.  Interesting what some new energy can bring to the team in the form of the HC.

Bengals are a decent team.  They'll win 9-10 games this year.  Do nothing in the playoffs.  And then in the offseason the team will convince itself as long as it holds the "core" of the team together it'll be enough.  No needed changes to fix glaring holes, like center...or the fact the defense looks slow as shit every year.  Rinse and repeat.

The Bengals have hit their ceiling.  Again, good team and I'm glad they've been so successful in the last few years, but does anyone really think they're going to breakthrough under Marvin Lewis?

Where was Tyler Boyd this game? And Gio was held in check.  Can't do anything with on Oline always allowing pressure.

The Bengals never get the benefit of the officiating.

I agree, they are not going to break through under Marvin.  It's obvious now.  We kept waiting year after year, and year after year it's been the same thing.

We really missed the boat with Zimmer.  That team in Minnesota looks pretty well coached.

Marvin has done an excellent job taking the Bungles and turning them into constant play off contenders, however that hump seems unsurmountable and the big game choking doesn't go away. Time to move on.
