HoosierCat
they use an overly cozy relationship with the Commissioner to get preferential treatment, etc.And for anyone who might doubt it, I present the following: Just days after being charged with murder, Hernandez' stats are gone from nfl.com./>http://www.nfl.com/player/aaronhernandez/497244/careerstatsMeanwhile, 12 years after being convicted of arranging the hit on his pregnant girlfriend, Rae Carruth's career stats? COB
I'm putting the over/under on the number of people Aaron Hernandez murdered at 4. He's definitely guilty of the one near his house. He's pretty good for the double murder a year or so ago that they have now linked the vehicle to him in. Now I read that while he was at Florida University there was a double murder of two guys in a car. It remains unsolved, but the similarities between the double murder in Mass is striking. Guys got into an altercation in a club. They leave, and someone drives up beside them and opens up, killing the two guys. Several gators were questioned, including Hernandez, no one was ever charged. Murder after club altercationThis all isn't even including the guy who's eye he shot out. Ralphie's mom was right.

jjakq27
Last thing I read was that the case from 2007 would not be reopened. There was some statement by the locals that said the person in question was a black man and of a different than Hernandez. So they felt that there was no reason to look into at this time. However, perhaps the eyewitness gave an alternate description fearing a visit from AH and friends. Who knows?http://www.usatoday....radley/2472709/And as for the primary case, did AH really think people wouldn't find out? This was such a simplistic crime he should have just shot him inside the police station.
TJJackson
Since the Patriots are giving full refunds or exchanges on Hernandez jerseys, shouldn't the Browns do the same for all Ausar Walcott jerseys?

This was such a simplistic crime he should have just shot him inside the police station.I read that USA Today article. One similarity - the guy Hernandez cycloptisized? Shot him and left him to die in an industrial park. Also similar - just like the recent guy, the one eyed guy was a friend and associate of Hernandez. So if Hernandez gets out, and you become friends with him, and one night about 2 am he and his "friends" drive you to a deserted industrial park, that would be a great time to either fly magically away or remember every episode of Kung Fu you ever saw as a kid and go on a supernatural death punch spree. COB
He shot one guy's eye out, and punched that other guy in the ear, burst his eardrum and left him deaf in that ear. How many people was he planning to permanently maim? What a f**khead. And f**k both Urban Meyer and Bill Bellicheck for enabling this psychopath. Spare me the protestations about their ignorance to Hernandez' character. They knew.

HoosierCat
Rut-ro, raggy...ABC News reports that authorities investigating the murder of Odin Lloyd have contacted police in Gainesville to determine whether Hernandez had a role in a September 2007 shooting there.A witness to the shooting does not identify Hernandez by name, but the witness said the shooter was a “‘Hawaiian’ or ‘Hispanic’ male who had a large muscular build, stood about 6-foot-3 or 6-foot-4, weighed about 230 or 240 pounds and had a lot of tattoos.”Here’s the relevant portion of the police report: ”As they were waiting for the light to change, the Hawaiian football player and Reggie Nelson walked up to their car on the right side. Then without saying a work [sic], the Hawaiian pointed a small handgun in the front right window and fired five quick shots. [Randall] Cason saw [Corey] Smith slump over with blood coming out of the back of the head, at which time the Hawaiian and Nelson took off running towards McDonald’s.”/>http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/03/massachusetts-authorities-dust-off-2007-shooting-in-gainesville/More from espn...Nelson told investigators that he was at The Venue with several friends that night. He said he later saw Aaron Hernandez and the Pouncey twins, and Hernandez told him that one of the twins had his necklace snatched by Cason. After the club closed, Nelson said, one of the twins confirmed the story to him. Nelson said he went to speak to Cason, advised that he didn't want any trouble and the two parted on good terms. He said he was not on West University Avenue, the street where the shooting took place, when Smith and Glass were shot. Two days after the shooting, Gainesville police Lt. Keith Kameg was quoted in the Orlando Sentinel as saying neither Hernandez nor Nelson were suspects. Police have also said that they briefly interviewed Hernandez about the shooting. But, according to the police report, Hernandez declined to speak to Gainesville police nine days after the shooting. Hernandez's name is redacted from the report because he was 17 and considered a minor at the time. However, there is one reference to Hernandez in which his name is not redacted. In that section under "Aaron Hernandez," the report says detectives attempted to speak to Hernandez on Oct. 9 but that "he invoked his right to counsel."That same day Cason, who had originally said Nelson and the Hawaiian or Hispanic male were the suspects, "rescinded his identification of Aaron Hernandez and Reggie Nelson," according to the report. While Hernandez's name was redacted in the document, it was the first time the report indicated that Cason had positively identified Hernandez as the shooter at some point./>http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/9446754/mass-police-investigate-aaron-hernandez-possible-role-2007-gainesville-shooting-according-sources

COB
Police in Connecticut Reopen 23 Year Old Cold CaseBristol, Connecticut (AP) – Bristol homicide detectives have reopened a double homicide investigation from 1990. In December of 1990, two 5-year-old boys were shot and killed on the playground at Happy Fields Preschool, a day care center in Bristol. According to documents obtained by the AP, there was a dispute over who was entitled to play with some Transformers. The dispute took place near the teeter totter, and was broken up by Mrs. Esther Framingham, a teacher at the day care center.Ron Mathias and Troy Homan, both 5, left the teeter totter area and got into a Little Tykes pedal car and pedaled over to the swingset. Police reports indicate that an unidentified child approached the car, and fired 11 shots into the front of said car, hitting both boys in the head multiple times. Autopsy reports showed a 9 millimeter glock pistol was used in the shooting.Witnesses were uncooperative. Mrs. Framingham quit her job the next day and moved to Fillipi, Arizona. Police did note that 5 year-old student Aaron Hernandez, already heavily tattooed at that young age, showed up the next day with a new neck tattoo that read, “2 down, the rest of the world to go. THUG LIFE.” Hernandez’ legal team in his current murder case had no comment on the investigation other than to say, “Holy crap, another one?!”
