derekshank
How the f**k do you pass on Dez Bryant for a TE with two bad knees? Bulls**t.
volcom69
Brat better use him!!!
Kazkal
I'm sad we didn't get Mays but I really do like idea of Jermaine hopefully brat has been studying teams with pass receiving tight ends...Bit shocked we pass on Dez but we do have 2 WR's where we only had 1 TE who deserved a roster spot...Plus it sure will help on madden having a tight end who can catch hey just looking at the brightsideHow the f**k do you pass on Dez Bryant for a TE with two bad knees? Bulls**t. Same way Denver passed on him for a WR who can only run in a strait line.
princeton
works for me. I was weaned on Trumpy, Rodney and Ross
membengal
How the f**k do you pass on Dez Bryant for a TE with two bad knees? Bulls**t.Well, Dez Bryant isn't even the first WR off the board, so...I would say he may have some issues we are not aware of.For what it's worth on Gresham, everything I heard here in Baltimore, and I heard more than I wanted to, the Ravens were REAL high on Gresham. And Ozzie Newsome knows from TEs...just sayin'.
ArmyBengal
Like I said yesterday, it will either be Gresham or Kindle. However, I'm really surprised they passed on Bryant with the being able to fill a need with great value.
alleycat
Well, looks like we'll get to find out how Dez turns out because I have a feeling we'll be seeing him twice a year with Baltimore.Edit: Just realized the Pats had a no-brainer move down and will take him. volcom69
Baltimore will now probably take Dez, so in ways i would have loved to have him. However if they use the TE then i could be happy with it
GoBengals!
Well the Bengals were thin at TE, but I thought this was the draft where they weren't going to draft for need. Dez Bryant was the one I wanted. I bet New England picks him up... wait for it...
AGrizzlyBaer
I am fine with this pick. How many years have we said what if we had an elite TE? I hope it works out.
cincyhokie
Safe, solid, pick. He'll contribute immediately, IMHO. 6'5". Nice.
NJ29
I'm not a huge fan of it initially, just because I doubt Brat's ability to use him, not Gresham. I'm just against taking a tight end in general I guess. He could definitely end up being big for us though, and I'm sure that Carson is glad to have him. Let's hope he proves me wrong and busts some ass for us. WHO DEY!
markymark69
Surprised. Surprised the Bengals passed on Dez Bryant. Pleasantly surprised that we got Gresham. TE is a more glaring need than WR. I still think Coffman will pan out, if that is the case TE is set for a long time and becomes a serious factor in the passing game, which makes this offense extremely dangerous. The Bengals were at their past when they have had good TE's (Trumpy, Ross, Holman). I like it. Happy to have what I believe is a legit TE. BengalPimp
F**K YEAH BABY. Watch what he does for our offense. To all those who were B*tching about maybe a TE in the 1st RD....Get over it. This guy is a STUD!!! Carson is probably sh*tting himself right now saying FINALLY!!! If not Mays, Gresham was my choice. Very Satisfied with that pick...and trust me, by the end of the season, the doubters will be too!!!! UHHHHH
HairOnFire
I've already voiced my objections (value) so there's no need to rehash them again. I'm fine with it, and if I know me I'll slowly warm to the idea after the Bengals spell out specifically what there plans are. So mark one more thing off of the punchlist and move on. Kazkal
Another thing factor maybe they really liked a 2nd or 3rd round prospect maybe Marty? all in all I'm happy though who ever takes Mays might be my 2nd favorite team.
ShulaSteakhouse
If he's Antonio Gates to the Bengals, then he's worth that pick.Bryant's problem is that he's a jackhole, and would implode here.
membengal
If Gresham means never having to see Coats drop another TD pass again, I am his biggest fan. I may even buy his jersey.
