Bengals flexed out of prime time. Consider their inability to win on NBC's Sunday Night football , I guess this is a good thing. I'm kinda annoyed because I think/hope they would have beaten the Steelers in prime time crushing that narrative. Kinda shocked they would flex the Steelers out of Sunday Night but they suck.

No one said he was, but it is fact his line was among the best in 2005 season. It is also fact Kimo crawled into his knee. Argue those points if you wish.
-
Whatever Bill Cowher. The ACL tear was a cheap shot plain and simple. The hit came after the ball being out, Kimo had a knee and off hand on the ground prior to rolling the shoulder into his knee.

The o line was awesome with Palmer except maybe 2008 when they started to age. Made Rudi Johnson a star. Rebuilt it again and made Green -Ellis serviceable.

You can do it!

Offensive line wasn't ready to start the season. Since the first two weeks its pretty obvious to me that OL is the biggest failure point in the offense rather than scheme or play calling. If the OL can handle the other teams front 7 they'll put up numbers and dictate to the other team. We saw this NY, Miami, NO, Atl, and Car. Bengals will run the ball when they OL can actually block. Yesterday they owned the LOS against Cleveland they didn't. They simply have to be ready to put forth best efforts against Pitt and Tenn.

Some big games coming up in the Jungle.

Who Dey! Dominating performance.

Eh, its a parity league. They are 9th playoff spot and a game behind spots 4-7 and only a game ahead of several teams. This team to this point simply hasn't stamped itself a "Super" team like we all hoped and dreamed. 1. OL is just simply a disappointment. 2. Offense in general still can't consistently make teams pick their poison like they boasted. Play calling? Scheme? All OL? Have no idea but this offensive unit while still youngish has never stamped itself a consistent top 5/10 unit across multiple games. 3. Injuries are now mounting. Beat Panthers by a point, go celebrate with some wings. Go from there.

Lots of problems with that line. Williams on the edge in pass pro is a huge disappointment. Given the light boxes, DE more interested in pass rush, and LBs more interested in coverage the interior line/RB is a problem not to have more production in terms of average.

Chido out for year

Not a whole lot of details but the son of Mike Zimmer assistant Bengals coach passed away.

Browns DE didn't really seem interested in setting an edge in the run game. Maybe that is something they should have tried to exploit early on with some counter trey action out of shotgun. I'm not sure screens or whatever would have worked early without slowing the ends in the run game. The inability of this line to win against a light box in the run game is a big problem across all 5 starters and RBs. Whether it be under center or out of shotgun.

Simple as need to win then get right for Sunday Night football.

My take: Run D - Personally I thought there were plenty of wins vs. the Cleveland front in the run game. Without any offensive threat that allowed the Cleveland play calling to achieve volume along with some very bad 3rd down conversions. 3rd down - secondary. Poor effort. Brisset looked like Manning out there. With no scoring from offense. Bad 3rd downs just allowed Cleveland to reload the rushing game. Burrow/Higgins - Can't be MIA for that long. There was a critical 3rd and short in the first half. That needed to be a first instead it was punt. The biggest fault, IMO. The offensive line starting with Jonah Williams. Sorry I was hopeful at one point he would blossom to another level but you simply can't pay this guy top half money and you can't build around an inconsistent mid tier LT. Needs to be gone IF things don't change and I doubt they will. The entire line really is bad. Whenever there is an elite rusher they can't slow them down at all. Zero push in the run game is the most damaging IMO. Really it is time to send Pollack packing. Also cut ties with any left over O-line scouts like Alexander and McNally. Either you are drafting guys that can't play or not developing talent. Either way the O-line is the biggest flop. Zac/OC - time for a change here. Can't go completely in the hole against a team that would just love to get a lead and run the ball.

Pitiful effort

Buffalo looks awesome. Would love a decent win tonight from the Bengals.

Supposedly Teller, Ward, and Njoku are out for tonight.

What I heard on the radio was IR is based on games not weeks. So IF they use IR its 4 games min even with a by week.
-
I hope they'll continue to put points and yards up. Next man up in this situation is every group on the offense adding more because 1 singular player will not replace Chase. I look at Mixon, Evans, and Perine to be guys that can provide more plays to churn out first downs. Heck, it may let teams think they can play less Tampa 2 and boom they all of sudden find themselves with some more opportunities down field. Who knows? At the end of the day; Joe Burrow is a franchise QB that has been excellent pre snap so I think/hope he'll be a big factor in finding a way to lessen the blow.
-
Yeah if they IR him it’s at least 4 games. With the bye week looming whether or not they use IR will be telling about the severity.

Crap.

Awesome video there. First a tiger mauling a person in a tiger suit. Then you get the fumble-ruski play. Then Ken to Ike for 69 yards (perverts).

Joe B. back to back Fed Ex air player of the week. You could say he's delivering the goods.

Bengals have put up a 30 then 35 burger..... a 40 burger on MNF would get Joe right back in the hunt for MVP.
