  1. There really isn’t much that will surprise me with this team heading into free agency. I didn’t expect them to be in the top end market of free agency. More of a let the dust settle approach. Always expected abates to be gone, Apple is whatever, and so simply figured they would go cheaper at TE through the draft. I thought Mixon was in the mix to be gone due to the fact there’s no way they are paying him nearly 13 million this year. Now he has off field issues going on and even though not directly his fault, the team won’t want to deal with that. Big pay cut or gone. The draft will depend on free agency. While fun to speculate at this point, that’s all it is. Im good with all of it to be honest. Burrow’s and Chase’s contracts are a nice problem to have, but will impact how they structure the roster moving forward.
  2. Again, I really don’t care. I’ll leave this for you all.
  3. Apple has been a complete bust everywhere he’s been since being drafted until he came here. Not sure the reason but he’s really turned his play around. I’m happy for the guy and wouldn’t mind him sticking for another 1-2 years. If they don’t resign him, it won’t be because he can’t shut the fuck up, but I really wish he would.
  4. I don’t really give a rats ass if Mike Brown gives them a monthly ration of spam burgers and has them walk his dogs to cover exercise and meals. My point is I think it’s ridiculous these teams don’t have top of the line facilities. Will I lose sleep if they don’t ?? Not a fucking chance. Im hanging in Chicago’s Chinatown for the next few days and food and alcohol are calling my name…
  5. Honestly, it’s hard for me to envision training and dining facilities for NFL players being anything less than fucking amazingly new and state of the art type shit. Anything less from billionaire owners really is inexcusable. Well, at least to me.
  6. 40 million for Daniel Jones huh ?? If we are doing the math, that makes Burrow worth at least 127 million per year, right ??
  7. I would have to go look at his stats, but I’m tired and don’t feel like it, but maybe it’s not that he gets burned so much but when he does, it just looks really bad in the process.
  8. Glad to see the Ravens doing so well cleaning up drama… who cares? Who cares about Bates either? Thanks and buh bye. Enjoy that winning culture in Cleveland.
  9. TE, OT or CB There are plenty to like and someone should be there at #28 that will fill the role. See what they do with their own in free agency with maybe a new guy in there. Not stressing at this point .
  10. If he wants to stick around, he has to be smarter than this. Even if he wasn't involved, someone IN HIS HOUSE was, which resulted in a child getting shot. Maybe it's not you Joe, but you are picking the people around you. PICK BETTER !! That whole thought process of where there's smoke, there's fire may apply here. Hoping he doesn't have anything to do with it directly, but thinking the team may feel it's just not worth it anymore when considering how much they are paying him.
  11. Breaking news on the TV… Gunfire at Mixon’s house and a child was hit and taken to the hospital. Don’t know if he was involved.
  12. As much as I do enjoy running mock draft on those sites, I go in fully understanding how completely full of shit they may be. ProFootballNetwork has one and the draft rankings are at times way different than others thinking on players. 2a. TE Darnell Washington- after trading down 5 spots and picking up an extra 2nd rounder 2b. OT Darnell Wright- RT of the future 2c. DT Calijah Kancey- How the hell does he fall this far? 3. CB Eli Ricks- In the 3rd round? Seriously? 4. RB Tyjae Spears 5. QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson 6. DE Ali Gaye 7. WR Eiljah Higgins
  13. Glad that was a temporary outage !! Even if Terry didn't have anything to do with it being back up and running, nothing like offering up a THANK YOU for keeping the lights on around this place !! After 20 years, I really don't want to find another place. I don't think I would bother at that point. Just the end of posting on forums for me.
  14. I know people don’t typically care about the Combine and simply dismiss it as some useless event… HOWEVER, Kancey ran a 4.67 40 today. 6’0, 285 running a 4.67. That’s fucking ridiculous.
  15. And the Ravens fire their strength and training coach after the team was one of two that didn’t get an “A” or better in that area. The Ravens score you ask? ”F-“ Fucking hilarious
  16. Pretty much what I expect Pollack to say, especially pre-free agency and draft. Now if that comes to be and Adeniji is the starting RT week 1, I won’t be so happy about that. I’ve said it before but there is zero chance Collins plays before the mid point and probably longer. That would be next level healing for a man that big.
  17. For what it’s worth, I don’t really think much about the Burrow extension. It will get done when it gets done and the money will be what it is. Whatever the dollar amount, in 3 years it will look like a bargain anyway. I’d rather it get done sooner rather than later, but that’s really about it regarding his new deal. Thanks for posting that Mem.
  18. I just always pegged Higgins as the odd man out because you can’t pay everyone, but didn’t see trading him at this point in the process. At least see how the team is functioning come the trade deadline and see from there.
  19. Why the hell anyone would think the Bengals would trade Higgins is beyond me. He's vital to this offense, isn't a free agent until 2024 and the Bengals could (see will) tag him if no deal can be had. He's a #1 WR on many teams in the league.
  20. Ok, I enjoy finding new music that appeals to me and I have a couple for different reasons. To start, if you are open to a band that doesn't seem to follow one particular genre, ranging from some heavy riffs, to jazz, to an almost etheral feel, check out Sleep Token. Sometimes they infuse everything all in one song. It can sound odd at first, but listen through it. This is "The Summoning", but they have many songs I really like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJNbtYdr-Hg Then this next one is just an interesting song in general, but not something I would listen to often. I also haven't checked out any of his other work. This is Ren with "Hi Ren". For anyone who has suffered with illness, depression or anything of that nature, the depiction and performance, not to mention the lyrics should really relate. The dueling personalities within his head are all too familiar. VERY DIFFERENT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpu1OyPlIhQ
  21. I'd rather the Ravens take shots with increased chances which may or may not work out in the draft, then Jackson staying in Baltimore. What are the odds they find a replacement at QB that has those abilities or better? Not great. I get it though, if he wants a guaranteed contract, I would probably look to get what I can in picks and move on as well. As a Bengals fan, I can still take pleasure in them having that concern. Buh bye Lamar...
  22. I disagree though in that there isn't much about the offseason I DON'T like. I like when free agency hits, the combine, the draft, when camps get started, all of it. It's enjoyable (Albeit, more so lately) and the discussions surrounding it are a good time for me. I watch a ton of college football and am aware of many of the players and I find it fun to see where they end up. To each their own though.
  23. Just saw the Giants released Kenny Golladay. No, I don't want him here, but prior to going to the Giants, I wouldn't have been opposed and his name was in consideration. He was so bad in NYC, they took a 14.7 million dead cap hit just to show him the door. DAMN...
  24. Yeah, I'm not in camp Lewan under almost any circumstance. Just go draft a high end OT to start out playing RT and move on.
