  1. I always liked McCarron. He should have won that playoff game until super stupid happened.
  2. Rooting for him to be there and getting after it. Just not seeing it early. I will be very happy to see him make that happen !!
  3. When looking at the one from Fornelli: Mazi Smith in the first round over Kancey, who is still on the board? Mazi Smith in the first round even? Yeah, I might wreck my TV over that one. My question I always like to ask again is, "Who else was on the board?" Well, in this case, the best RB prospect in many years and we take a pass despite our concerns there. Bijan Robinson would make me stop in my tracks to consider what the hell we are doing if he was still on the board. When looking at the next one (The 7 rounder) from Edwards: The Bengals take my boy Kancey out of Pittsburgh. YES !! Great when considering who else was on the board. Bergeron in the 2nd isn't bad, but I would have rather had TE Musgrave, RB Charbonnet, CB Ricks at that point. Since we missed on the top end TE's, they throw TE Allen from Clemson at us in the 3rd, despite WR A.T. Perry still being there. Then OT Steen and RB Achane as well. A backup QB in the 4th huh? FUCK NO !! Especially not with DE Harrison still on the board. OT Freeland and CB Valentine are still there as well. I don't mind the CB in the 5th going with Jones, but would have waited for the QB spot and taken Thompson-Robinson here. Stupid late round WR pick in the 6th. Finally addressing the DE spot in the 7th. BY THE WAY... I think he totally forgot DE Andre Carter from Army Working in retrospect from Edwards' mock, I would have: 1. DT Kancey, Pittsburgh 2. TE Musgrave, Oregon State 3. DE Carter, Army 4. OT Freeland, BYU 5. QB Thompson-Robinson, UCLA 6. CB Brown, Ohio State 7. WR Bell, Michigan
  4. Williams and Berryhill getting suspended for betting on NON-NFL GAMES, simply because they were in an NFL facility is absolute horseshit. I agree with you too Hoosier in that the NFL and owners are getting balls deep and running a train on gambling, but will suspend anyone who gambles for 6 games to a year. I get the concerns with having NFL players betting on NFL games, but the NFL wasn't concerned with that when there was money to be made. Why can't a player sitting in an NFL facility place a bet on a baseball game? Am I missing something there?
  5. You and me both.
  6. I like Banks, Musgrave and Charbonnet. Not a fan of Mauch or most of the others. I think people pencil Mauch to us simply because of Volson. Lazy…
  7. I remember when the Bengals brought in Vonn Bell to the team and I was like, "That dude was still out there?" because it was a little later in the game. With that thought in mind, I wonder if there isn't another player sitting out there the Bengals could bring in unexpectedly. There are certainly enough guys still available at this point.
  8. Yeah I like the smaller local joints better than the big boys as well, but those aren’t close.
  9. Malik Wright had it up as well with another code: Wrightreport That one didn’t work for me and that’s when I found the Lapham one.
  10. Looks like they gave all tickets away at this point. If you subscribe to Goodberry, he’s going to be giving tickets away.
  11. No worries about him not taking visits. Teams know what he brings. Hoping teams have issue with his size and he drops to us in the 2nd. Not expecting that, but that would be awesome !!
  12. Now you are just getting greedy, but I can get behind that one.
  13. Goes to show just how hard it is to get quality o-linemen in the NFL.
  14. Well look at that. The Reds resigning a pitcher, as opposed to trading him for a half eaten Snicker's bar and some steel wool. Glad Hunter Greene will be sticking around. Now all the 10's of 100's in attendance will be able to witness at least one capable pitcher.
  15. Not sure why I read that as, "Then Who Will Feed Russell Crowe?"... Seemed like an odd question. I thought maybe there was another Weevil joke in there somewhere.
  16. Look, if the light came on for Carman, then great. Put me in the "Believe it when I see it" camp. Hoping for good things from him, but still thinking he can go fuck himself.
  17. Gold Star out and Skyline in. Not really a fan of Gold Star anyway, but whatever. Skyline is dominating in the Cincinnati sports arena huh? Bengals, Reds and FC Cincinnati. Good for them.
  18. Nope, don't think so either. Just saying. My gut tells me they stick with what they have and maybe address OT later. Then again, my gut has been calling for Fudge Stripes cookies. I think that's different though.
  19. What happens at RT is the big question I have going into the draft. Do they talk Jonah into stop being a 14 year old girl? Do they trade Jonah? Do they roll with one of the multiple turds in the RT mix currently on the roster? Do they draft a RT in the first round? I think answering the RT question allows for a better understanding of what they will do in the draft.
  20. Just an FYI... I don't pick up the dogshit in my front yard. If you bring Jennifer Connelly (Dr. Chiren) I will clean it up. Outside of that, I started to lose hearing due to firing my weapon without hearing protection. Who knew you couldn't call a time out in war when getting shot at to apply proper hearing protection? "Ok, I'm good. Game on !!"
  21. So, if I'm hearing you correctly, the Bengals are going to pay Mixon 12.7 million in 2023 ??
  22. Nice to see that breakdown for Hurts' contract and certainly makes me feel better about the cap hits. I'm sure the Bengals are looking at all of that as well. Just need to hang tight and let them get it done. Hoping for sooner rather than later, so they can start working on the many more needing to get wrapped up. I'm still in shock a little in them signing Orlando Brown despite all others needing to get done. So not something the older version of the Bengals would have tried to get fit in. LOVE IT !!
  23. That draft through 3, while fine, would not move the needled much for me. That would be the first time I've seen Brents name higher than the 3rd round and mostly later. I don't have any issues with him, but at 28? Not really interested. Isn't Bergeron a LT? Looks like he's had a handful of starts at RT, but mostly a LT. Pinning the hopes of him becoming the day 1 starter at RT is probably no better than any of the other guys currently on the roster, so I will pass on him. So to now they have reached for a guy and taken a LT with the hopes of him competing for the RT spot. How do they follow that up? Of course with a pick that has zero chance of starting in 2023 and probably not seeing the field much at all. While coming off an injury, the Bengals did take Tycen Anderson last year and the coaches were really high on him. This draft would not give me much to smile about and, as always, needing to answer the, "Who else was on the board?" question. Suck it McShay...
  24. No shocker with Collins, as I wouldn't be surprised to see him miss almost the entire regular season.
  25. My thoughts exactly. I'm interested to see how much difference there is in guaranteed coin for these QB deals coming.
