I think all of these teams are really good. It’s hard to say what’s going to happen, but suffice it to say, there won’t be any game that you won’t feel somewhat nervous about. Bills, Chiefs, 49er’s, Eagles, etc… Lets just beat the Bills today !!

I was wondering if Chris Evans might have some more touches in this game, but with the o-line being what it is, Perine and his pass blocking ability probably sees a lot of action.

Yeah the Jags can’t be too unhappy with their season. They were straight up ass last year. You can’t turn the ball over that much against the Chiefs and expect to win, but they were still in it. Urban Meyer sucks

7 hours later and my son and so have arrived in Buffalo. Taking a breather and then we are headed out into town to catch the playoff games and grab some food. Tons of Bengals fans on the road headed this way. Hoping to hear a bunch of WHODEY’s around !!

He beat out Carmen, our 2nd round pick, during the camp battle and has started all season without getting Burrow killed. Yeah, he doesn’t have to be All Pro as long as we have improved the roster from the season prior. Now if the team feels it can improve the roster at Volson’s position again this coming offseason, that’s fine by me. Bitching about what he is at this point in the season is beyond stupid.

Those also aren't just my opinions, they are shared by others that don't put much stock in PFF grades as the sole source either. If PFF grades were the sole source of good and bad, there would be many players out of the NFL. I also never said, that Volson is some All-Pro player or couldn't be replaced. I said he has performed better than what anyone could hope for from a 4th round rookie from North Dakota State. Thinking this guy was going to be more than what he was this year after going up against world beaters like South Dakota St., Youngstown, UNI, Indiana St. and Western Illinois during his college career might have been the first mistake for someone making that particular argument. Jesus, what crawled up your butt about Volson anyway ?? Just felt like hating today ??

In contrast, I have no idea how Burrow and his agent are going to handle negotiations, but I'm going to guess it won't look like that. If it does, I will tune out for a while and be back when the drama ends.

I don’t care about the grades at this point. Volson has played about as well as you could expect a 4th round rookie from North Dakota State to play. Personally I think MUCH better. I’ll side with Karras who loves the kid and thinks he has a big future more than some grades. If Volson flames out, such is life, but I don’t think that’s his path.

Waiting for the Bengals to get a Germany game. A weekend in Munich is amazing without the football. Include being able to watch the Bengals and that's damn near a dream vacation right there. The Chiefs are the only team we play that has a Germany slot, but as Mem mentioned, I think that would be a longshot. KC isn't going to want to give up homefield advantage in what will probably be a very important game concerning post season seeding.

For those that care about it… The Bengals will be wearing all white uniforms with the normal orange helmets. The Bills are wearing all blue. I read the Bengals are 7-1 in that combo.

Yeah, Adeniji was a LT at Kansas state like Carman was at Clemson. I can't say that I have much appreciation for Prince's game and also can't say that having a LT and RT taking first game snaps at the position would fill me with great joy and an expectation of wonderful things coming out of it. They need more OT help in the upcoming draft for sure.

Here's me trying to be objective... What do you all think about Jackson Carman moving forward since we obviously have no choice at this point? I read that his PFF grades weren't the best in limited snaps in a position he hasn't played in the pros, despite LT being his spot at Clemson. Apparently Carman scored higher in pass blocking (in limited snaps) than Jonah did prior to the injury, but wasn't great against the run in comparison. Obviously, on a personal note, I don't care much for the kid, but that's not a consideration in him helping this team in the playoffs from this point. I'm just hoping that through practice at that spot with the #1's, he can get a better feel for what they are doing and improve. We need him to be the player they thought they were drafting in the 2nd round, not the guy that got beat out by a rookie. It's not just Carman though, the right side of the line is still concerning to me as well.

Dude situational awareness is something that I could never find a way to undo, even if I wanted to. Hell I had a run in with a woman Bengals fan at the Ravens game Sunday night. Stupid isn’t restricted within state boundaries unfortunately. I’m all in on the Bengals chances in this game. A little concerned about the o-line holding up, but this team is never going to be out of a game before it even starts.

I'm really looking forward to it. This will be my son's and mine first game at Bills stadium and I have no concerns with being an opposing fan surrounded by Bills faithful. Odd facts: Not once during my time in the Army (02/1990 - 03/2011), did the Bengals beat the Bills. The Bengals were 0-9 against the them. In the last 6 games between them, only once was the game decided by more than 4 points. The Bengals won that game 34-21 in 2015. In those last 6 games, the Bengals are 4-2, with the Bills beating us in our last matchup in 2019.

Not sure if anyone locally listens to WEBN in the mornings, but the DJ Kidd Chris uses Lapham yelp and grunt clips when the sports guy comes in to do his thing. They might be talking about UC basketball and you hear Lapham, "NICE" "GO BABY" "YEAH" "BALLS OUT" "WHOOOOOOO" !! It's always hilarious to hear him sneak them in where they don't belong.

That’s awesome. Switzerland is beautiful. Stationed in Germany early in my career and then took family back a few years ago. Along with Germany, France and Austria, we hit up both Zurich and Liechtenstein. Would love to take them back again. Good luck brother !!

Went back and looked. I gave the 2020 draft and “A”. Mentioned repeatedly my love of the Marcus Bailey pick and thought people really overlooked what Tee’s game was about. I had an concern with not addressing o-line when Josh Jones was there to take, but we went with Logan Wilson and certainly won’t complain about that as Jones had some drug concerns and probably wasn’t a good fit. Glad to have gotten that one right.
