He was hurt for a bit last year, but still had a decent year despite Pollard having a big year.

Ezekiel Elliott has his choice of teams narrowed to the Eagles, Jets and Bengals ?? First time I him connected to us. Thoughts ??
-
If we are talking WR, which I really hope we aren't, give me a guy with return skills that won't go early. Nathaniel Dell, WR, Houston
-
If they bring Higgins and Chase back, Boyd is gone in my opinion. The only way he sticks is if Higgins leaves. It's going to be a ton of money tied up in one position group. The draft makes it too easy to move on at a cheaper price point.
-
Specifically, there are a handful of guys that could be had at various parts in the draft. For me, top targets early on would include: Mayer Washington Kincaid Musgraves After them, you still have solid guys that could be better pro than college TE's: Kraft Laporta Latu Kuntz Needless to say, we are taking TE(s) in this draft. Unfortunate they couldn't get something done in FA.

I thought so as well. Was hoping to bring in Moreau and take a TE early. There are a few guys that would excite me in adding to this offense.
-
So the odds of TE at #28 just increased.

I honestly think it’s a win. The Browns panic in trying to add talent by picking up a WR that has yet to get even to 600 yards in a season. In doing so, they give up a second round pick. They don’t have a 1st or 2nd round pick this year. Yes I’m happy about that.
-
They won 62 last season and appear to have gotten worse. I’ll go with 50 games.
-
By pro bowl you mean a WR that has yet to eclipse 550 yards in a season ?? Yeah, color me unconcerned.
-
So now the Browns don’t have a 1st or 2nd round pick? Good.
-
I don't think I would worry about him being disgruntled, which I think he is, and how that would affect his play. I would be more concerned with how him being disgruntled would impact the relationships on the o-line. While I think he would do the best he could, should he remain, that's a contentious o-line room to deal with.

I'm at a point today that I don't want additional picks. There is probably more value in swapping picks to move up in an earlier round than the 4th or 5th we might get in an extra pick for Williams. For example, would you move from 60 to somewhere in the 40's in the 2nd round? We would get better value in the 2nd round and rid ourselves of a player that doesn't want to be here, while saving 12 million dollars. Said team would get a starting caliber OT on the cheap and wouldn't have to give up a pick. Totally hypothetical, but we've made moves like that in the past.

So still ass nonetheless... I get it, we have zero TE's at this point. I'm really hoping they get Foster if even on a one year deal. Still draft a TE at some point and pick up another during cutdowns and shit. If it has to be Sample, I guess there are worse things, but that dude is not good.

Drew Sample = Ass

I'm not surprised teams are asking about Jonah. Finding even average OT's is a challenging task. The question becomes... what do the Bengals want in return? I honestly hope something gets done. Maybe instead of picks, there could be a swap of picks so the Bengals can move up. I would be just as happy with that.

109 million in cap space sounds really good. What people forget is it's not like we will have a full team under contract AND the 109 million to spend on upgrading the roster. (I'm not saying you AMPHAR just making a point) The reason for that 109 million is that half the starters for 2023 will no longer be under contract. If we don't spend the 109 million on extending those players, new ones will need to be found. This year is no exception. Plenty of people talking about how much room the Bengals have. An OT, LB, Safety and few other minor signings and we are at less than 10 million remaining. When looking at big deals coming for Burrow, Chase, and Higgins (if he sticks), this is why people are suggesting players need to be restructured or let go. It's the burden of success in building a roster that competes for the Super Bowl each year. You can't pay everyone. That 109 million will be gone so quick it won't be funny.

I get that as well, they have absolutely shit the bed more often than not when it comes to getting an o-lineman in here that they can develop into a starter. They either draft a guy that has the ability and will work at his craft (Volson) or they get some guy that is a turd and always will be (Carman). All that being said, you still can't just avoid it and hope a player figures it out and/or have free agency as your go to plan. Lets be honest, if Jonah Williams had lived up to his draft spot and they weren't looking at having to dump a ton of cash into him as a free agent while being average at best, Brown would never have been a consideration. I think that's another aspect that pisses me off about Jonah. It's like, dude, you aren't better than this guy... shut up. I would still have no issue with Darnell Wright, RT, Tennessee at #28.

Rookie pool is undefeated. Motherfucker has ice in his veins.

Yeah crazies indeed… I’m sure that kid playing nerf wars was wondering why the hell someone was shooting real bullets at him before one shattered his foot. There was a house full of crazies shooting real bullets at kids. I see kids playing with nerf guns all the time. Hell even I play nerf wars with my boys in the house. I’ve got a sniper rifle that shoots the big darts, but my personal favorite is the battery powered fully automatic rifle with nerf grenade launcher. I fucking dominate. What I don’t do is pull out my handgun and start shooting at them. I have no issues with guns. Have a small arsenal to tell the truth. I do however take issue with stupid fucking people that can’t determine what the fuck is going on around them and end up shooting kids.

Haven't heard anything about his asking price. Maybe that is the hang up ??
-
Oh yeah, Adeniji. I almost forgot about him. Let's go little girl, you can do it Jenny !!!
-
That's all they had on him, but here you go... https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2022-tight-end-rankings
-
So the competition for starting RT is between Ford (bust), Carman (bust), the towel boy, and the little girl that runs out on the field and grabs the kicking tee ?? Am I wrong in rooting for the little girl ??

Hey TJ, I'm right there with you. I would MUCH rather have a RT at #28 that we could count on for the next 5 years. Or give me that impact CB or DT at that spot before TE. All day long. My only point at this moment (God knows it could very well shake out differently) is that the impact guys at either OT, CB or DT will be gone by #28 and we are reaching for a 2nd or 3rd tier type of player. I would prefer the impact, top tier TE and then grab from those other spots starting in round 2. Again, all this can and most likely will change. Signing Moreau would be enough to make me wait on TE until later.
