You know.... CTB, Hill and Turner should be a really nice CB set for this team. Need that group to really bring it, along with the safeties. Hoping Geno Stone might be able to provide some insight to what he knows about the Ravens offense as well. Really wanting to see him go out there and play a good game against his former team.

I've heard Jackson called many things, but savior is not one of them. I'm sure there's a fan out there that is just over the top for the dude though and making comments like that. I don't like or dislike him as a player and honestly I don't know what we have in him at this point and only game snaps will show that. He played a lot of NT at TA&M, but most write ups I saw about him didn't think that was the best way to use him. I did see someone make a silly comparison to Atkins. Atkins should have never fell the to 4th round, but did because of size. Jackson is viewed as an average athlete, with some burst off the line and some nice pass rush moves. Atkins was the most athletic DT in his class. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for the young man to be all of Atkins and more. I'm just not betting on that. To be truthful, we don't even need that from him. We just need a slightly above average DT to not be a doormat to opposing offenses. You know... kind of what we have right now.

Well, I will be tuned into both of those games. ArmyBengal Jr. and I are flying down to Houston for the Bills Texans game. Hanging out with my Army buddy who lives down there. Going to be a good time. No worries TJ, I will be wearing my Atkins jersey to the game regardless !!

A DT and DE to come help certainly won't hurt. Murphy needs to show why he was a 1st round pick. Jackson needs to get his big ass in the middle of the line and clog shit up !!

This defense appears as weak as I've seen them in quite some time. They lack an aggressive attitude and there's no one that an opposing offense has to plan for. No difference maker. Trey might be the closest thing they have, but since there's no one else, his impact isn't huge. BJ Hill and Rankins haven't been there. The DT backups provide minimal to no impact. Outside of Trey, there is no pass rush. Hubbard appears done and then no one. I like Pratt and Wilson and ADG, but with the DT's and DE's not doing much, they don't make much of an impact either. The secondary seems completely ineffective. Opposing offensive players seemingly have tons of space to make plays downfield. The defense is going to keep this team from making the post season. I'm watching, but they sure are making it hard. If I'm Burrow, I'd be asking someone else to take the post game interviews. He's in no position to answer for why the defense sucks.

I think 2025 is going to see a fairly large change in Bengals players. The free agent list has a handful of starters and contributors on it. I think this draft is going to be a really important one to them. All drafts are important but with Burrow now having and Chase probably getting the big money, draft picks are going to have to hit. I can’t even begin and don’t really want to think about the names out there in the draft but have no issue with it being heavy on linemen. D line needs to be addressed multiple times.

That's hilarious that you put Rico Suave out there like that, because I heard the announcer say his name during the game and I thought to myself, "Who the hell is he talking about?", as I always thought there was an "N" in his name. "Renkow", not ""Rehkow" and certainly didn't know that's how to pronounce it. When I heard it, Rico Suave was the first thing that came to mind. We got Rico Fuckin' Suave punting for us now. I would like to know how the o-line rated in yesterday's game. Not giving up a sack was a really nice change of pace. I thought Mims play was encouraging.

The only thing I can hang a hat on for this game is they know what they are up against and have had some success here and there. I don't think the plan is going to change much this time around. I think the execution of that plan is where it all comes apart for the defense. My only hope is for a shootout we come out ahead on. That being said, I don't expect that to be the case. I'm expecting a two TD loss, but won't be shocked if they win either. Not exactly what I was expecting out of them heading into week 5, but here we are. 1-3 instead of 3-1. Stinks.

I watched Burrow's presser after the game and thought to myself... Who's taking questions for the defense ?? I don't need to hear from Burrow today. I know what and why I saw what I did from the offense. I have no idea WTF the defense is doing and why they are that bad. Sure two starting DT's are out. Got it. Really though? Can't figure out a way to the fuck off the field? The two starting DT's being out has nothing to do with guys not tackling and taking poor angles.
