Exactly. That might the first time in NFL history for that to happen as well. I blame Lou…
-
Of course we will need a new #2 WR when Higgins leaves and I assume Burton is a combination of unreliable and not being trusted. They are stupid enough, despite the glaring holes, to use a 1st or 2nd rounder on that spot.

And as hard as it is to believe, the Bengals shitty play actually has cost them during their bye week. Their week 16 primetime game on Thursday night in the Battle of Ohio and Stripe the Jungle, has been flexed out to that Sunday at 1pm. Mind you, this is THE FIRST TIME in NFL history a game has been flexed out of a Thursday night spot. Personally I don't care all that much, but took amusement in the fact that even on their bye week they fucked up. Well done Bengals !!

That's the God's honest truth right there Glasgow !! Followed up with talk of playoffs. Feasible? Sure. Probable? Unlikely. For reference, please see any and all discussion concerning our defense. On second thought... VERY unlikely I'm not going to lie, nothing would be more fun than a run, including a sweep of the Steelers to sneak into that last spot. I just don't know how many more times I can muster up a glimmer of hope with this team only to have them snuff it out with GREAT force. I feel like the beaten wife who keeps running back to the guy kicking the shit out of her because she knows he's going to change this time.

Hate the Browns and really hate the Steelers and had next to zero interest in watching that game last night. However, if didn't enjoy watching that football game in all that freakin' snow, you don't have a soul.

Mac has certainly struggled but his misses can’t account for that many games. Had the defense resembled half of what they previously had been under Lou, no one would care about the misses. That being said, Mac need to pull his head out of his ass.

Someday, someone is going to look back on the contracts Brady took from the Patriots and not be perplexed.

It started in camp and has lasted into the season much further than it should have. Cam running his mouth has been nothing but a curse. Reading his own press, getting the big head, whatever. He clearly had something happen with him that has led to his drastic fall off this season. I came into things this year feeling like, "At least we have Cam" and now I'm like, "You fucking suck". Germaine Pratt was pissed about Cam's play last week and then Lou dimes his ass out as well. I don't know what got into Cam, but it's been like a cancer for the defense and in turn, hurt the team. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting all this on him, put he should be a stabilizing force and been anything but. The defense seemingly forgetting that it's "tackle" football and being good at tackling is kind of a priority is concerning. Vonn Bell aging 15 years hasn't helped. Geno Stone, "Best pick up of free agency" has been hot garbage at best. Sam Hubbard is sadly done. The DT's aren't great or they are young (Exception to BJ Hill). Bottomline for me to this point is FUCK YOU LOU and EAT A DICK CAM !!

So no defensive line help until the end of the 3rd round and only a DT? No thought of adding a DE? Lets see... yeah, that sucks balls. Did they even review the Bengals this season? The Bengals are going to have a real shot at the top DT in the draft and would be wise to do just that if so lucky. Well, that is unless they decide to roll out 2024's version of the Dead Cat Bounce. JUST FUCKING LOSE

Thank God I enjoy the draft process as much as I do. However, that's more of a product of my love for college football and reviewing the players coming into the league. The Bengals never make big moves in the draft and I think there's a place for making targeted moves. With how little certainty there is in the draft picks panning out, giving up future picks to get someone above average is less concerning to me. But I get that maybe having more picks increases your odds of getting a stud. I just don't see that happen here more often than not. Look at what the Texans did the year before when they drafted Stroud and then traded future picks to get Will Anderson. Offensive and defensive rookies of the year that year and have been a huge part of the success they are having now. I'm not saying that is something they should do every year, but put more time into getting the guy you want and go get them. Take the chance. Take a shot. You know, as opposed to sitting on your hands hoping a great player reaches your spot. However, that takes a solid approach to scouting, soooooooo, yeah.

Yes, any talk of who the Bengals might bring in to replace Zac (They won't) is an absolute waste of time. To start rattling off big names is an even bigger waste of time. Hey, here's an idea... Lets have a conversation about how many top of the market free agents the Bengals are going to bring in during the off season. God knows that's time well spent. I'm banking on at least 3, with a probable trade of Khalil Herbert for Myles Garrett as well. Probably trade our 6th and 7th rounders to get back into the first round too. Fucking stupid...

No, at this point in the season, they need to be playing these guys. You have to see if there’s any chance in righting the ship. I’m all about it TJ.

Gave this just a little more thought and then found a video clip that does a better job explaining where exactly we are as Bengals fans. For your watching and listening pleasure... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bex5LyzbbBE

His curse is the uniform he wore.

See... no hope. It's a good thing my father brainwashed me at a young age to be a die hard fan of the hometown team. Minus that, I would have left decades ago. If it wasn't for my son and his love of the Texans, all of my rooting would still be the Bengals alone. Now I'm about a 60/40 clip that still leans the Bengals way. That has narrowed through the years. I have been to Houston twice this year for games and my son and I went to Indy for that game. Might still get to one more before it's all said and done. I only went to the Bengals/Commanders game this year and have no plans to attend any more. I don't buy Bengals gear any more, with the last time being a Bengals Burrow jersey a couple years back. They just seem to fuck it up and ruin my enjoyment of pro football more often than not. It's really quite old...

There's always hope ?? "Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

Glad a prerequisite for earning your way back onto the field when you play like shit and are a main contributor for the loss is to cheer like nobody's business. Nothing says, I've learned my lesson and won't fuck up any more like clapping your hands together. I'm going to have to remember that the next time Mrs. ArmyBengal has a good reason to be pissed off at me. Knowing is half the battle. Thanks Lou !!

No talk of Anarumo’s decision to bench CTB? Apparently he’s fucking up. Pinned both the Chargers first two TD’s on him.
-
Love seeing Mixon do so well. However, I think it’s more a product of being somewhere new. Demeco Ryans is a hell of a head coach. They have weapons on both offense and defense. However, the Texans O-line is far from stellar. Tunsil is a penalty machine at LT, they have made more than a handful of changes on the interior and benched a first round player as well. They are less than the model of an ideal O-Line. Mixon is just on his game. Happy for him.

I've now seen at least 5 different articles claiming Lou has been given players that lack the necessary talent. AGAIN, please spare me the bullshit. He wasn't "given" shit, he played a part in those players being here. Look in the mirror Lou. It's you bro !!

Pretty much COB. Sadly, pretty much.

Unfortunately yes, all we have is next year... Here's where I fall this morning. We (Bengals fans) are all dead, that's right, I said it... DEAD. We were once horrible people who have done horrible things while we were of the living. As our eternal punishment, we have all been sent to the, before now unknown, 10th circle of hell. Or as we all have come to call it, Cincinnati. In Cincinnati, Satan (Mike Brown) has formed this outrageous and unspeakable evil known as "The Bengals". This is the part of hell where hope truly goes to die. Where year after endless year, we are given the curse of hope, only to be cast into the horrific fire of despair yet again. This fire of despair lasts for months until we are pulled from that agony to once again be given hope in what the ancient philosophers called "The draft". Despite how amazing and beautiful "The draft" appears and no matter how many magnificent, mythical free agents come to save us, it will never be enough. The season beings YET AGAIN only to see our body parts being ripped away in the form of injuries, ineptitude, and false prophets where God's light cannot shine. Regardless of us being ripped to shreds, we continue to hold onto hope, spending money, cheering for our tormentors, and defending them and their abilities to save us. There is no escape. There is no path that leads to heaven and a Super Bowl Championship. Only continued pain, sadness and a never ending hope that gets extinguished. "THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR" is the call to arms as we are cast back into the fire. WE ARE IN HELL !!! Ok everyone, hope you all have a great day !! Cheers !!

Annnd here we are back to the old bye week jokes. Let me start. I know it's the bye week, but somehow the defense is still going to find a way to completely fuck everything up and when trying to figure out what happened, Zac is going to say, "We have to find a way to finish, we can't have bye weeks ending like this".

Ja'Marr letting the cracks in the dam appear a little more glaring when asked "How the team can finish better" ??
