  1. Thought he got hurt which sapped all his speed? Think that’s why he fell so far. Maybe I’m thinking of someone else, but a RB in the 6th huh? Wow. Way to close it out Bengals.
  2. Why do I waste my time leading up to this moment when I know they are going to just sit back and let the draft happen to them? Imagine you are Joe Burrow and you want to learn more about the guy protecting you and you read things like… Non athletic Slow feet Stiff hips Below average base footwork Clunky mover Hell yeah, put him in coach.
  3. Ok if they want another DE, I like Swinson from LSU. DT Peebles.S Jaylen Reed. DE Baron. CB Strong. CB Burke. S Crawford. Well forget Swinson
  4. Yeah he will be going on 30 when his rookie deal is up.
  5. Fucking two LB’s and neither of them who I wanted. Don’t know why I’m paying attention at this point. The trend of sitting back and seeing what comes to you and being seemingly clueless to what’s happening in the draft continues. Is someone’s kid making these picks?
  6. I don’t think he sucks but he’s not who I wanted the most early and others I would have been equally happy with later. Just less than thrilled.
  7. I just think it’s odd that most viewed him as a depth pick and we make him a starter from day one. Im not mad but the less than thrilled feeling continues. There were better players to be had.
  8. I want to love what they have done through the first three rounds but I’m very blah about the whole thing. As fans we fall in love with certain players and simply expect the team is going to see it the same way, but that’s just not reality. They addressed DE, LB and OG. When looking at that, there’s a lot to be excited about. Then you see the names and you left wanting more. it will be interesting to see how it all turns out, but in comparison we could have had a draft that looked like: 1st round- LB Jihaad Campbell 2nd round- DE Mike Green 3rd round- S Kevin Winston Hell there are a handful of other variations I would have preferred to what we got. Green, Ratledge and Winston and even more. We just have to put all faith in what Golden wants to do with the defense and how waiting on the OG position works out. I wanted to come away feeling they killed it and I don’t. Maybe they all prove me wrong. Go new kids !!
  9. I mean a linebacker. I should be jumping around going crazy. All I can seem to muster is…. Meh
  10. He’s a Pratt clone. I just don’t think he was anywhere near best player available. Ratledge sitting there to help the o-line and they reach.
  11. Both Ohio State RB’s going helps us.
  12. Hate what Cleveland is doing. Graham Schwesinger Judkins Good God…
  13. Yes I do. Happy they took him because he was one of my favorite players.
  14. That sucks. That kid is going to be good.
  15. I have tried in recent years not to talk myself into agreeing for the sake of agreeing as well. Thats not the case here and have said I don’t dislike less than anyone here I think. If the only way you view the kid is by sacks, that’s a disservice. I’m not leading the charge to put him in the Hall of Fame mine you, just acknowledging we addressed a need with a high motor, high character kid with outstanding athletic ability. It’s not like some of the other character concerns and small school concerns you have with some of the others.
  16. He wasn't productive in many of the categories that get most of the talk. Sacks? No. Tackles? Not really. TFL? 13. Forced Fumbles? Just 1. INT's? None. However, as I mentioned previously he led the nation in a little known stat "seconds to pressure" at 2.43 seconds. Admittedly, that's REALLY fast from snap to making the QB feel your presence. Leading his team in pressures is also noteworthy. I don't know what they will get from him at this point, but won't complain about a guy that can bring that pressure. Pressuring the QB makes things easier on the rest of the defense. D-line, linebackers, secondary, everyone. Yes please, give me that. Hubbard was loved and averaged 5.5 sacks per season over his 7 seasons with the Bengals. Dare I say that between Murphy and Stewart, they should be able to get that? Color me confident...
  17. Yeah, there's more beyond that group of six I like, but figuring at least 6 of those will be there puts us in a good spot.
  18. Yeah, I really wanted to put any of those RB's in there and would probably add a couple WR's, but regarding what I think is "best" for the team, that's it.
  19. I get that as well for sure. Looking at what was done is still very impressive. No two ways about that. I would have liked to see the agility drills though. I'm one of the weird ones that watch that stuff. Football season truly never ends.
  20. Like I said before. Nothing to get upset about at THIS time. If that talent doesn't come to fruition, then complain. Right now I'm happy we addressed the DE position.
  21. I commented on his perfect 10 RAS score and just how ridiculous it is, really is eye popping. #1 out of 1829 defensive ends from 1987-2025 ?? Fucking seriously ?? The manner in which offense and defense is played in college is a pretty valid point as well. An 88.2 run grade is actually an importance aspect, as the Bengals lost Hubbard known for his run stopping ability. If part of his primary role was to disrupt the run and option games, adding him to spy Lamar would be welcomed. That's quite the take on Stewart and from someone not associated with the Bengals. Nice !!
