  1. Again, that's the pick Brady thinks just fell into Pratt's hands like it was a gift and nothing played into it. EXCEPT... when looking at it again, you see the Bengals putting mad pressure on Brady. Reader flushes him from the pocket and Ossai hits him as he releases the pass that floats forever. Pratt makes a move for the ball, falls, but doesn't give up, still making the play on the ball. YEAH, the Bucs really gave that one to us. Hilarious the stupid narrative people spew.
  2. Here's something that, despite the Bengals winning, really pisses me off. Why is it, that when a team gets beat by the Bengals, it's always the other team shooting themselves in the foot? Why isn't it that the Bengals are making great fucking plays? Reader forced that fumble. Flowers and Pratt made plays to get those interceptions. (The Brady handoff fumble was his fault though) My point is, people under estimate and give zero credit to the team playing the ball they do. The coach calling it, "The Bucs vs. the Bucs", Brady calling it like a win falling out of the sky to the Bengals. What the fuck ever. The Bucs were handling business in the first half. THE BENGALS beat their ass like a fucking drum in the second half.
  3. Yeah a few weeks back I commented about their schedule and that has gone in the opposite direction for sure. Happy to see those teams make the Ravens efforts a little more challenging !!
  4. Regarding the injuries, it would not surprise me to see the team sit those guys to give them time to heal up instead of pushing it. If I'm being totally honest, I think the Patriots suck big fat donkey balls. Their 7-7 record is a product of beating mostly shitty teams. Wins against Steelers, Lions, Browns, Jets (x2), Colts, and Cardinals. A few head scratching losses to the Packers, Bears and Raiders yesterday, to top that off. I don't want to get overconfident, but I was more concerned about the Bucs yesterday with a losing record then I am the Patriots.
  5. I think the Bills are an amazing team and I enjoy watching Josh Allen ball out. I still respect their fans for what they did with Dalton's foundation after we helped them get into the playoffs that year. That being said, they aren't invincible. They aren't to be scared of or intimidated by. While I would love the #1 seed, I won't be complaining about a #2 or #3 with the AFC North title. Something makes me feel like time off or resting guys might jinx the whole damn thing.
  6. Nope, none at all. My 16 year old reminds me nearly every day. My suits are the closest thing I have to "looking the part", but that's really not me. I just faked it until I fit in and now have to keep it up. I'm a t-shirt, shorts and running shoes (if any) kind of guy.
  7. Additionally, let me add something else I've noticed this season. Maybe I just never paid attention, but I recall Burrow getting attention about the crap he wears walking into a stadium and now it's everywhere. You can't check out ESPN without some write up and gallery of photos of players arriving and discussing their clothes. While at 52, I am hardly what you would call a fashion guru, unless Under Armour joggers and pull over fleece is the rage. I mean, if I'm traveling, I am suited up, but that's maybe once a month and it's nothing close to Armani-ish... That being said, what is it about young guys and having all this money that makes them clown hard? I mean seriously... WTF are these guys wearing? Makes me no difference, but was just curious. Stay clownish on my friends !!!
  8. Again though... There's no need to putting thought to how they win the North or get the #1 seed. The team simply needs to focus solely on beating the Patriots Sunday and then go from there. 3 wins and a KC slip up and all that comes to pass. KC has the Seahawks, Broncos and at the Raiders. While crappy, division games are still division games.
  9. I'm willing to see if him being a talking head plays out. He obviously has an incredible amount of knowledge concerning the game (duh) and could share his thoughts in a way he never has. I think that would be interesting, but the question is, will he? I know most people simply place all the blame on Brady and how much he's lost it and should have retired, but there has been more to it this season. New coach, new o-line members, no Gronk and a plethora of player injuries. I say this not in defense of him, just simply acknowledging. That being said, I watched the locker room speak and kept thinking to myself... Are all visitor locker rooms basically a broom closet, with a leaky roof where some benches were thrown?
  10. Just like last season though, I now spend almost my entire week waiting for the Bengals game on Sunday. Thank you Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, the new o-line and all the other players killing it each week !!! This really is a lot of fun !! WE ARE GOING TO GET IT THIS YEAR BILLY !!!
  11. Dude… the LAST thing this team should do is mess with anything that is functioning this well. Stick with what is working and ride it through.
  12. I thought I made it clear that I NEEDED to throw in the towel before halftime. I might be the exception here.
  13. Bucs running a ton of play action in the first half and the Bengals made adjustments. The Bucs couldn’t keep up. Love seeing comments elsewhere about how the Bengals and Burrow aren’t that good. Sweet tears !!!
  14. I really need to start complaining before the 2nd half.
  15. What the fuck am I watching here ??
  16. Channeling his inner Marvin Lewis with hard hitting, intriguing thoughts to ponder.
  17. Good job stupid Browns !!
  18. Blame Arby's
  19. Just beat the shit out of the Bucs and let the rest fall where it may. Keep winning and everything else will fall into place. Another home playoff game this year would be fucking amazing though !!!
  20. I will be paying attention to both that game and the Falcons game as former UC QB Ridder is getting his first pro start. Go Browns !?!?
  21. Holy shit that’s a great read. Thanks Mem !!
  22. I'm not sure I agree with the correlation there. I understand running the ball to set up the flea flicker. That makes sense. However, you don't intentionally block poorly and pick up 2-3 yards on purpose to make that play happen. That's what I was complaining about and I think that was the concern with Mixon coming back, in that he has done that quite often this year. I think it goes without saying that I love Mixon, but many have commented about him running right up the middle and only getting 2-3 yards. To Goodberry's point, the o-line didn't have a particularly stellar game against the Browns, so I'm not sure I can get behind that argument. Who knows ?? God knows I've been wrong many times before. Hell, look at me complaining about the linebackers when everyone told me I was crazy. Looks like I was crazy !!
  23. Give me Foskey in that scenario if we are taking DE. I like the thought of the best CB as long as they aren’t too far down that list.
  24. Oh I agree totally. “Swag” will only do so much. He’s smart and knows what to do with the ball the majority of the time. He has shown throughout both his college and pro career that he has the athletic ability, but it’s overlooked. Probably because he didn’t snub the Bengals like many of the talking heads were hoping he would. Every time I hear a non-Bengals fan talk about Burrow, it’s always about how much talent he had around him at LSU. While that is in fact the case with the talent he had, someone was throwing those 60 TD’s at LSU, right? They also forget he ran for another 5 that year. Yeah, he sucks….
  25. If it gets me to the game this weekend, I’m pretty sure I will survive. After a total of 15 months away when I deployed, a week or two is a drop in the bucket…
