I wonder what Marvin's camp t-shirt slogan would be this season if he was still around. "Play Football Today" "Do My Job" "Donuts Are For Winners" "We Are Doing Bengals Again" *Text-free photograph of Marvin clapping*

Might be a long-shot, but it worked for me once: At the log-in screen, don't use your actual email address. Bengalszone automatically generates an "email" based upon your username. My old username from when I was a ridiculous overposting teenager was "TDB", and I was able to log in with "tdb@bengalszone.net" in the email field. Maybe "armybengal@bengalszone.net" will work for you. The password might still be an adventure. May not work, I dunno. It's a strange system.

Now that I am aware of this situation, I am PISSED. RAGE.

*searches "Bengals" on YouTube for the 307th time this month, finds nothing but the same old bullshit, groans, and continues drifting through space until football arrives*

Welcome back UKB.
-
Cool now go win the Super Bowl before you lose him.
-
It’s a one year extension. Dunno the money.
-
LOVE IT.

Lemar Parrish is the easiest name of the year for me. I think he's the greatest defensive back in team history. Otherwise I am pretty wide open to anyone including Corey Dillon.
-
I listen because it’s there, but they kind of drive me nuts. Rapien is just kind of a dork. Liscow is an asshole. And Liscow drives me nuts during interviews, because he is incapable of asking a concise question. Every question turns into a vocal paragraph so long that by the time he reaches the question mark the guest doesn’t remember what he’s supposed to be answering. There’s also The Growler (formerly Hear That Podcast Growlin). It’s okay.

I may extend that semi-gauntlet I mentioned before one more week. The next game is the short week Cleveland TNF game.
-
Absolutely hate two TNF games against the division, but the good news is that this happened to the entire AFC North. Otherwise there's really no excuse to win fewer than 12 games against this schedule if the roster is reasonably healthy. There's no true "gauntlet" of a stretch. Beyond the six division games, KC, and PHI, this is a pile of inferior opposition. The worst it gets is probably this five-game stretch: @ BAL @ LAC BYE vs. PIT @ DAL @ TEN Even that has a bye week nestled beautifully in the center.

From the Bengals via Ben Baby:

I saw that SNF @NYG leak. If that's real, what the hell? What a bizarre SNF matchup.
-
I’d love Denver or New England. Let us finally open with a patsy.

Sorry, I’m blind and missed the other thread. Merge or delete, please/thanks.

It’s coming soon, so here’s a thread. Week 2 is already revealed: @Arrowhead, 4:25 PM on CBS (likely Nantz/Romo). https://x.com/bengals/status/1790346772054766037?s=46

I think ADG and Bachie are solid backups, but I agree it’s barren after that. And STs take a hit without Bailey.
-
I also agree that WR is only starting worse. Given time Burton could blossom into an upgrade. DT will be interesting. I think we’re explicitly worse against the run, but the pass rush should be better. Hopefully the trade-off is sufficient, especially in division games. I don’t fault the Bengals for their moves in any event. Personnel turnover is inevitable.

QB is certainly improved when accounting for Burrow’s health and any play from Jake Browning. At the start of last season I underestimated how much the calf would hamper Joe.
-
How I feel about each position group relative to the start of last season: QB - no change OT - improved IOL - no change RB - slightly improved WR - slightly worse TE - improved DE - no change DT - worse LB - no change CB - no change S - improved At least a slight improvement overall.

Poop. Stupid ass B.
-
I’d extend Karras yesterday. Just a quality player, great leader, and community superstar.
-
Move them both to Fox and get rid of Bradshaw.
