  1. The backup offensive line looks like a backup offensive line.
  2. Burton returning punts is fun! Flags can fuck off!
  3. Bengals defensive 2s force a three and out on the Bears offensive 1s.
  4. Logan Woodside and Rocky Lombardi time. Championship.
  5. Best kicker we’ve ever had. Excellent.
  6. I think they might go with three RBs to incorporate an extra TE. Losing Evans is another blow to the kick return squad though.
  7. It’s possible that conflict exists as you describe it. If so, however, it’d be pretty loaded. Expecting Chase to put up gigantic JJ stat lines while sharing major targets with Higgins and Boyd is a bit much. I hope the Bengals aren’t in that mindset.
  8. This should make our lives easier Week 1. Pats' pass rusher Judon traded to Falcons. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40862815/patriots-deal-pro-bowl-lb-matthew-judon-falcons
  9. Last I saw only one player drafted in 2021 has already been extended (#1 overall Trevor Lawrence). Agents are getting beyond tiresome with these games.
  10. Promising Rookie Gets Injured is one of the most annoying Bengals tropes.
  11. He had a nice game, though I think some of that production was a product of the IDL depth doing very little.
  12. That’s fantastic, and I think you’ll have a great time. If you end up in the road trip, you’ll see a lot of the countryside too.
  13. Nobody got hurt so I’m good.
  14. Burton TD. Sexy.
  15. Rough game for Jake Browning.
  16. Josh Newton pick. Nice to see his strong camp show up in a game.
  17. Murphy is getting consistent pressure.
  18. TD offense 3 and out defense That’ll do.
  19. Good drive, offense. See you next week.
  20. Please no injuries Please no injuries Please no injuries
  21. Whoever fumbles the least is my choice.
  22. Brown has guard experience too. He's one of our most valuable OL assets even if Mims starts.
  23. I thought I smelled some rank BO in here.
  24. I hadn't cooked up an all-time 53-man roster since about 2019, so I tried again. So many recent players warrant mention, so it's an overhaul. Obviously this is pointless, but we're all nerdy enough to post on an internet message board forum, so take it anyway. I'd imagine head coach could invite some controversy (and I think it's very close with Wyche). Underlines denote starters. I decided to include a classical number of players per position group (e.g., overrepresented linebackers), but apply a modern-era arrangement of starters to get a taste of both worlds. QB (3) - Ken Anderson, Joe Burrow, Boomer Esiason RB (4) - Corey Dillon, James Brooks, Joe Mixon, Rudi Johnson FB (1) - Pete Johnson WR (6) - Chad Johnson, Isaac Curtis, Ja'Marr Chase, AJ Green, Carl Pickens, TJ Houshmandzadeh TE (3) - Bob Trumpy, Dan Ross, Rodney Holman OL (8) - Anthony Muñoz, Willie Anderson, Andrew Whitworth, Max Montoya, Bob Johnson, Richie Braham, Bruce Kozerski, Dave Lapham DE (5) - Carlos Dunlap, Trey Hendrickson, Justin Smith, Eddie Edwards, Michael Johnson DT (4) - Geno Atkins, Tim Krumrie, Domata Peko, Dan Wilkinson LB (6) - Reggie Williams, Vontaze Burfict, Logan Wilson, James Francis, Brian Simmons, Germaine Pratt S (4) - David Fulcher, Jessie Bates, Tommy Casanova, Reggie Nelson CB (6) - Lemar Parrish, Ken Riley, Leon Hall, Adam Jones, Deltha O'Neal, Mike Hilton (nickel)* P (1) - Kevin Huber K (1) - Evan McPherson LS (1) - Clark Harris HC - Zac Taylor OC - Bill Walsh DC - Mike Zimmer
  25. Looks pretty sexy. Ted Karras gives a personal tour of the amenities:
