I think Taylor builds a strong culture, he's a solid free agency recruiter, and he has great respect for tradition. I don't think he does much well on Sundays though. He isn't a great playcaller, he's an even worse game planner (especially early in seasons), he makes bad decisions with respect to risk/reward, and he doesn't seem to have a coherent philosophy. Every week I get the feeling he is winging it.

I don’t know where this season ends up, but if it’s as bad as it looks, everyone needs to be gone. I have zero patience for any wasting of Joe Burrow’s prime. The Bengals absolutely cannot afford to repeat the Marvin Lewis mistake. Zac needs to get this team into the postseason or he’s done.

The last time they lost Higgins late in the week, the offense was a joke (just prior to the Patriots game). I think in that case, they'd spend all of camp with Higgins and no Chase, but then that was entirely reversed at the last second. It ruined whatever gameplan they had cooked up for Week 1 (which was probably bad anyway). This time they had an extra day or so to adapt their process, and it's October. No excuses for the offense to be a steaming pile today. Figure it out.
